The owners were super kind and down to earth . Every morning there was something different and delicious for breakfast which is always a good...

Wow, from the moment you set foot in the place Sam and Jane make you feel like family. It may not look like much from the street but climb the stairs and the polished wooden floors, historical photos, facilities, hospitality and warmth of the staff will make you feel like you are coming home. Stayed with Marco Polo mixed dorm for 4 nights and then returned for another night before I flew out from Kuching. Have to say it is one of the best value for money guesthouses I have ever stayed. Good location (10mins walk to waterfront/main bazaar/carpenter street, located near the main gate cat statue of Jalan Padungan, 5mins away from the...

I've stayed at this guesthouse several times, and every time I do I have a great time. It is clean, the owners (Samuel and Georgette) are great and it is centrally located near the big cat statue and gate to Chinatown. It is within easy walking distance to the Kuching waterfront and right near many amazing restaurants. Every time I...

Marco Polo's is one of those old-style, congenial guest houses that gets all the basics right. It is spacious, spotless, the mattresses are good, the bunk beds don’t wobble, there are plenty of bathrooms and a pleasant verandah in the back where much-better-than-you-could-hope-for breakfast is served. A kitchen too. It is located in a relaxed neighborhood on the edge of...

My stay at this guesthouse was great! Very clean and tidy. It was quiet at night. It's located out of town but in a not so touristy place which for me was a good point. Staff were friendly and helped me find accommodation for my next stop. Breakfast was ample and varied. Highly recommended!
