1. Fresh fish cooked in bamboo shoot. Nice and fresh . 2. Fry Bamboo shoots is very different from west Malaysia. 3. Kampung chicken soup is a must ! The soup is very sweet. 4. Bidayuh rice biscuit is unique too. Crispy.

Warm welcome at the information centre. Same for the people at the entrance of the long house. The longhouse is more of a terrace build connected houses via bamboo floors. People are friendly especially taking in account all those "tourists" on your doorstep peeking in your quarters. Suggest to have some cultural information about the Bidayuh, their way of living,... The longhouse experience is one of, if not the most, memorable trip I've had with my boyfriend. The Bidayuh community was really friendly and we will never forget our host, Ed. We didn't get to stay in the actual longhouse, but in one of the actual houses right next to them. We only stayed one night there and we should've... More

We stay 3 nights there enjoying each moment with edward and the family. Accommodation are simple but that's all we needed, food was great and activities is the must. Treck in the jungle to see the waterfalls, the hot springs, visit of the village, bamboo barbecue made our time simply fabulous. I recommend this place, nice with kids.

Perfect way to get to know some locals-the Bidayuhs. Allow for at least 2 nights. It's all about nature and cultural discovery. Be prepared that this is not a 5 star hotel. So .. 1. Bring hiking shoes 2. Little motor fan if you cannot stand heat 3. A hat as they will take you hiking to the waterfall and... More

“Tell the host what you cannot tolerate so they advise you on the best options. There are a few guest houses in that community and they help each other out. So they may suggest one another to suit your needs better. There is a big distance from airport so always opt for the host to pick you up. It's the most cost effective way.”
