We booked into Singgashana for a couple of nights. The dorms were hot and smelt damp. Nor were the staff particularly helpful. The one redeeming feature is the rooftop bar which is a great place to meet people. Special mention to the bar man Adam who was awesome.

1. All sort of footwear are not allowed after lobby. Be careful if you leave your shoes at the shoe racks, I think if your shoes are expensive, you better keep them in your room. 2. There is only 1 socket in a quad room. But you can charge your electrical appliance at common place and let the staff to...

Absolutely loved staying here. Rooftop bar is great and the staff is super friendly and very helpfull. Made me feel at home! Dorms and bathroom are clean, beds are comfortable with lockers. Breakfast is basic but fine. Easy going yo different places from there. They arranged good tours and transfers.

Location wise strategic as it located at the centre of the Kuching city. The common room was very spacious filled with fancy chairs, books for read, and bar. Very helpful and friendly staff at Singgahsana. The rooftop was nice, had my breakfast at the rooftop and enjoy the view. Meet new peoples and had a great time here. Will definitely...

Firstly, this hostel is set in a great location, set within a good distance to most things. I checked in late evening without any problems and was shown to my room. You are not allowed to wear any sort of footwear so make sure you bring some socks with you! This meant the entire area, including the fantastic rooftop bar...

We stayed 5 nights here in two different family rooms. G8 on the main floor was musty and a bit dungeonesque without much natural light. Our other room on the second floor was better on both counts, though smaller. Our kids liked the two common areas and especially the pool table (and fun staff to play against). We liked the...

We stayed there as we prepared ourselves to attend an International Hash Event. A dormetary type place. Easy access for sight seeing & a number of restaurants surrounding the lodge. Enjoy the bar on the top floor. great Deals

The hostels location is central and therefore, excellent. It is beautiful as well, the rooms are inspired by Malaysian culture and there is a big common room with a bar and payed internet computers. Also, there is free wifi. On the roof, there is a huge bar with a terrace, simply amazing. Go to this hostel to meet new people...
