Amazing, beautiful, exotic, romantic, relaxing.....I could go on but ALL of these words sum up Maafushivaru. I spent many nights researching a new island having been to both Coco Palm islands (which were also amazing and worth trying). Finally, having spoken to several travel agents, I was convinced that Maaf was exactly what I was looking for...and they were spot...

We went to the island on our honeymoon, it was everything we could have wished for and more! I have never felt compeled to write a review before, even though I always use tripadvisor-I felt I had to confirm all the other fantastic comments about the resort. It is truly "Robinson Crusoe" with 5 star luxury! It balances the relaxed...

This is our 2nd trip to the Maldives. The first one we went to was Veligandu. Maafushivaru is similar to Veligandu in a way but not exactly the same. It would be a good idea to break down our experience into categories. Size of the island - It's a small to medium island (50 villas I belive), which is what...

We have just returned home from our 2 week holiday on this small, gorgeous paradise island. It is everything we expected & some! We were greeted on our arrival by the superb, friendly Kuoni rep Mark, who gave us a guided tour of the island, after a refreshing cold towel & fruit cocktail. We were then lucky to be allocated...

This is the first holiday we have ever been on where we could have both cried when we left. We only went for a week thinking there might not be enough to keep us there for longer but it was amazing. The water villa was wonderful, the sand so soft, the food delicious, service excellent, sunset cruise, romantic beach meal...

There is very little to say that has not already been said. Excellent service, food is more than adequate especially the deserts. Definitely go on the all inclusive as the drinks selection is very extensive and prices are high for individual drinks. Entertainment is limited. The island is small, so you must like remote

Couldn't really disagree more with CMcvey (25/5) review below - if you can't enjoy a place like Maafushivaru you should stop taking holidays! It was marvellous from start to finish. Sea plane transfer is completely stress free and smooth. The arrival at the island just makes you grin from ear-to-ear. Stepping off the boat on to the island with music...

My family and I have spent 3 weeks in paradise, we have been to several Maldivian Islands before and this is by far the best. When we arrived it was torrential rain but this did not dampen our spirits. This is the smallest Island we have visited but perfectly formed! All the staff were amazing, we felt like part of...
