A great place to view the sun setting over the Atlantic ocean is from the top terrace of the restaurant. Enjoy a cocktail and a superb view at the same time. As evening cools go downstairs for a delicious meal .... the fish ball targine was excellent.

We 3 popped up to the terrace for coffee and juices and to check out the view and menu for the evening meal for two friends we had met by The long pretty winding stairs brought us to a splendid view in a basic, sparse terrace. Others were also enjoying the view of the port, rocks, beach, surf and island....

This hotel is right in the middle of everything you need, very close to the port. We had a look at a couple of hostels/hotels around and this was by far the best in this price range (we paid 300MAD for 1 night for 2 people). Many hotels in Essaouira haven't got dry beds, here the bed is comfy an...

While looking somewhere modest to stay in Essaouria, we came across with this hotel. Super-friendly staff, modest prices, wonderful view in roof and rooms, very good breakfast and coffee. It is a belated review indeed, I just realized that I did not review this hotel when I found the business card in my drawer. But seriously, when i think back...

We didn't stay at the hotel but had a really nice lunch in the rooftop restaurant. Both my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambience on the rooftop terrace of this small hotel. The decor of the hotel itself was lovely too (we had to walk up the traditionally tiled staircase to get to the restaurant). The restaurant...

to see the sea through the old wall take one of the upper rooms and enjoy life. This is not the cleanest hotel you have seen but it is a nice moroccan inner city exprience. the shower could be more focused on showering andless on spreading water. All you need in town is walking distance away.

We found this hotel just suited us perfectly. The decor was genuinely Moroccan, the room we had looked out over rocks to the sea, the roof terrace was relaxing and had great views around town. Saed and the other staff were delightful and helpful without being intrusive. The breakfast was delicious and served on the roof terrace. We would certainly...

This is a perfect solo travelers hotel. The harbor and great food joints is right outside the door. I was at hotel dar al bahar for a couple days. I realized I was always here at the harbor and eating at the open air fish markets...so I moved hotels. The terrace is perfect to sit by the sea. Essaouira is...
