My boyfriend and I had been making our down through Morocco and planned to treat ourselves to a little R&R in Essaouira. We had initially booked to stay in an apartment stay, but the host contacted us right away as it had been booked on a different website at the same time. He suggested to stay in Riad Remmy, although...

Riad Remmy is a beautifully eclectic and tranquil haven situated within the walls of the Medina. The riad is absolutely stunning - mixing a traditional Moroccan style with a bohemian Essaouira vibe. From the moment you walk inside the riad you cannot fail to be impressed. It is stylish yet comfortable, welcoming and absolutely spotless. I chose Riad Remmy (for...

We (2 ladies) have just returned from too short a stay at Riad Remmy. Coming from our accommodation in Marrakech, Riad Remmy could not have been more perfect. Sandra met us at the bus and pointed out landmark signs on along the way to help us find our way when by ourselves. We were given lots of helpful hints and...

I knew this was going to be good as it came highly recommended by friends but you have to meet Sandra and see the Riad to know just how good it is, and such good value. Sandra is a real treasure of a host - she met me off the bus, was a mine of info on good places to...

Our experience was much as for other recent reviewers. Sandra really is an exceptional host, great fun, great company, and she provided great breakfasts! We were in Essaouira in uncharacteristically cool and wet weather for March and the open log fire in the Ground Floor was most welcome. Our first floor double room was a little tight sizewise, although the...

Stayed here for two nights after finding the recommendations on TA. Sandra the host was very helpful and the Riad was very well kept and in a central location. The Riad is not quite as grand s other that we stayed in during our visit to Fes and Marrakech, but one that we would recommend. Responses were very prompt and...

If you want to have a nice experience in Essaouira, this Riad is the one for you. Perfect moroccan enviroment, nice accomodations and more than excellent the treat we received from the staff (Sandra). It's definitively a place you have to stay if you go to Essaouira, in the middle of the Medina. Bon voyage!

Great location near the fascinating main shopping street but tucked away down the atmospheric alleyways, so lovely and peaceful. We stayed back in Nov (for 3 nights) and our host Sandra really made the trip for us. We were met at the bus station, provided with lovely breakfasts, restaurant recommendations and Sandra's warm personality. We cannot rate the level of...
