The riad is in a great location - easy walking to the beach, medina and port. We stayed for one night and were upgraded to a suite (was booked on a double room). The room was huge, with a large bathroom as well. There is no air-conditioning - could be because there is no need for one in Essaouira since...

I really liked staying in this Riad. It was more comfortable than the one we stayed at in Fes, except that the bed was hard. We learned that that's how Moroccans like it. The windows all had a glass window that could be opened. We stayed in room 14 and had a small balcony onto the narrow street. There was...

Rooms clean and immaculate, food impeccable, terrace has great views across beach and over harbour. Hard to fault. Great staff and location on edge of Medina is ideal as well. Recommend evening menu as although expensive was superb

Myself & Friend arrived at this wonderful Riad and I was impressed immediately by the building and decor! Our room was on the 3rd floo, which was fine but my friend having a health issue asked for a room change, this was done immediately! Wow we were put in a suite above reception..huge & impressive. The wonderful Arch to the restaurant was...

We spent 4 nights in this lovely riad. Ours was a very adequate de luxe room, but some of the suites were beautiful - worth upgrading. The riad is on 4 levels with no lift, so not suitable for people who have mobility difficulties. Weather permitting breakfast is taken on rooftop, which is very nicely presented with some comfy sunbeds...

We loved staying in this Riad. Great restaurant and very helpful staff. Perfectly placed in the medina and the rooms are lovely. Breakfast was a little boring. Fruit not fresh and always the same. Every day ! That's my only criticism really.

This was a lovely place to stay but you should know it does not have air conditioning. Nights cool off but it can be warm in the day time. rooms are situated on 3 floors and the stairs are steep. Noise carries but the Riad is in a fabulous location.

Through Bab (Gate) Sbaa. First left (menu boards at the end of the street). We stayed in a similar Riad in Marrakech during our visit to Morocco, but only had dinner here. If I return to Essouira I would definitely look this one up. It is just lovely. We were delighted with our choice for dinner. Wonderful food! Excellent Service...
