We stayed here for 3 nights. We had booked a mini suite but for the first two nights, another story not related to the Hotel, we were upgraded to a Suite. It was very nice. The only criticism is the light in the rooms are insufficient and make it hard to read. The breakfast on the indoor terrace was superb...

We didn't even last one night. The hotel stinks of damp, there was standing water on the stairs. Great view, but doesn't make up for a riad that desperately needs a complete refurbishment. The £100 a night price tag is outrageous - we walked down the road and found a great maison d'hotes for half the price.

My wife and I stayed here with some close friends whilst doing a brief tour of Morocco. It has to be said, we've not stayed in a hotel that boasts such a dramatic setting - the hotel is perched on the side of the sea wall and as the Atlantic rollers come crashing in, it's a pretty attractive scene. We...

Tasteful decorated in a architectual morocan style. We enjoyed the exelent seaview from our room and on the roof with a very good breakfast. When it got dark we didn't feel comfortable in the narrow alleys poor light. Strange that we had to pay cash fot the taxis we used.

This place was a real mixed bag, both best of and worst of. Best first, it has beautiful architectural detailing and an amazing setting (in spite of the "dark alley" approach) with many rooms directly overlooking/overhearing a wild, rocky ocean surf zone, and serves an excellent breakfast with real French press coffee (not Africafe instant). And the worst? It was...

We arrived after a big trip, weary from the trip. The town was busy and as we walked the little streets we didnot know waht to expect. Entered a small door and then: wauw, what a beautiful room. A tremendous view over the city walls and the ocean. you could open the window and it was like sitting in the...

Riad Mimouna was a an unexpected treat! The riad we initially booked in Essaouira was horrible and after 2 nights with another 6 to go we were desparate to find a better place to stay and enjoy beautiful Essaouira. We walked in to Riad Mimouna by chance and fell in love. It is a big riad with 32 rooms but...

Very nice hotel directly at the city gate facing the sea. Interior of lobby and rooms is very nice in a morrocian style. Staff is very kind and helpful. You will have breakfast on the roof with beautiful view on the wild Atlantic Ocean. I recommend to book a room with sea view, it's worth it! We stayed for six...

Riad Mimouna is breathtakingly situated right on the ramparts of the old medina. If you happen to have a junor suite on the corner, you get a beautiful seaview on two sides, but all the other seaview rooms are wonderful. The rooms are clean, everything is working, but above all: it all is very beautiful and tasteful. When you enter...
