Nicely decorated and quiet spot in the hectic of the historic soukh/medina. The Moroccan female staff (femmes de menage) is very hospitable and friendly. Magnificent how they end their job in the evening with candlelights on the stairs and Arab or Italian music in the lounge. The small scale makes it easy to meet the other guests in the small...

Thank you so much, for your lovely, honest, review - and I am always happy when our guests challenge the LP guide's incorrect statement re the situation, of Lunetoile. THIS, by the way, has now been acknowledged and rectified, by LP guide! Positive, happy, people generally have positive, happy, experiences - thank you for your happy contribution...much appreciated!

Sweet and charming place with feminine touch. All those heartwarming details: bowls of organges, fresh flowers, books and magazines make Lunetoile feel rather like home than a hotel. Fine location at the end of one of the medina's main streets. The roof terrace is not too big and could use some renovation but the view of the restless ocean and...

The last sentence says it all - '' definitely Lunetoile is a perfect place to enjoy Essaouira'' - thank you so much! Sorry that I did not get to meet you, as I was travelling...but as you will have experienced, the ladies (femmes de menage) who work at Lunetoile, have been given thorough training in every skill pertaining to hospitality...

From the moment we were met off the bus we loved our stay at Lunetoile. We loved the atmosphere of the building, the beautifully designed rooms, the delicious breakfast, the little touches (hot water bottle, incense burning, fresh fruit, sunny rooftop terrace, great restaurant tips) and the welcoming atmosphere created by Sue and the femmes de menage. We would definitely...

We only stayed two nights but enjoyed a very warm welcome by the owner Sue and her very friendly stuff. The Riad is very clean and has been lovingly renovated. The two rooms on the ground floor are rather small and dark but the rooms on the middle level are spacious and nicely decorated. There is an appartment on the...

Firstly, many thanks for taking the time to give us a lovely write-up, but, most importantly, I am thrilled that you have mentioned that our location IS NOT dangerous,( as implied by L P Guide)....In fact we have never, ever, had any clients who have experienced any problems whatsoever, and Essaouira is indeed, still one of the very few places...

Such an adorable place to stay, the location is great, the service is great, and most of all the Riad itself is just so pretty- all yellow and blue and homely. Its like they thought of every detail! We came here stressed from the mad rush of Marrakesh and it was a quiet heaven and totally affordable! They even have...

Arriving into the Supratours station at dusk, things were pretty hectic stepping off the bus. Amidst the offers for taxis and bag trolleying we were appoached by the welcome sight of a Lunetoile sign held by the cheerful Kabira. The riad won us over from the start as Kabira had been sent to collect us and guide us through the...

I am thrilled, thank you, with this glowing report, and we will endeavour to continue to live up to your compliments! I, too, agree, wholeheartedly, with your description of our location, as being central, convenient and safe and quiet at night. Some guide-books, the LP versions, seem to be mis-guided, and unfairly mis-inform the public. Luckily for us, with Trip...

Lunetoille has been one of the highlights of my recent month in Morocco. Essa is a must-visit spot, and this riad is perfectly located close to the center of the medina. Tastefully renovated, the riad is tranquil and peaceful: the perfect sanctuary after a day in the souks and around the harbour. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning sunshine...
