I stayed at Pemba Bushcamp 3 times. The camping is excellent and affordable, the bungalows are clean and well situated, and the staff are fantastic, especially Alfonso and Lynn! The nature walk with Kai is also well worth it. The setting is perfect, and there is a cool beach bar and kayaks to tool around in the bay. On Sundays... More

We only spent a night at this place. The hotel is far from everything and from Pemba Center. It's a good place if you have to go to the airport the next morning (they'll arrange a car for free for you). The place is quite nice and they have a lot of space to walk around (you can see birds/monkeys).... More

Thank you for your review. - I’m afraid one can’t have a Bush Camp in town. All nine Backpacker rooms (max 2) & Bamboo Units @ 40 $us were fully booked. There are no private Chalets/Cottage cheaper than 100$ on Ibo Island. Interesting we have not had a price increase in 12 years and were STILL expensive. Although our occupancy... More

Very scenic natural settings and very nice for a lazy afternoon outing. Nice beach front for relaxing and swimming. The bar is excellent except you have to prearrange for any food or snacks. The staff also warm and friendly.

My husband and I stayed in this camp for four nights and truly enjoyed our experience. It's in a beautiful and remote location, much nicer than the Wimbi beach area where most of the accommodation options in Pemba are located. The camp has a very friendly, family-style atmosphere with communal dinners. We loved our chalet and spent much time reading... More

During a recent business trip I had the good fortune to visit this place .... awesome! Just spent an hour there while the tide was coming in, but wow, the rising water coming up to the bar chairs, the sunset ... simply awesome! Wanna go back and spend a couple of days there!!!

if you want to be away from everything (but still can live with some rugby fans celebrating their teams performance) this is your place. great service to be picked up at the airport by Rudi, awesome views when approaching the camp. Friendly welcome in the camp. Nice and comfortable chalet, cute beach bar, good beach, impressive old baobabs and fun... More

Initially we were only supposed to stay at the bush camp for a night. We stayed for four. Awesome place! The vibe is incredible. When we walked in the bar was flooded due to the high tide, which gave it such a special touch! With our feet dangling in the water we ordered a beer and were simply blown away... More

We used Pemba Dive n Bush as a stopover to/from Quirimbas islands, and was well taken care for by Lynn, the manageress who answered a lot of our qureies, made sure we had enough food to eat, and helped us to feel at home. There is a strong communal vibe in the place, and we were lucky to get free... More

In a fast changing and frenetic boomtown, Pemba Dive and Bush Camp is an oasis of calm away from it all. In my time there I have found the staff from top to bottom, without fail, to be gracious, extremely accommodating, caring, and generous to a fault. When I first came to Pemba Dive and Bush Camp I was struck... More

At $10 per person for camping and $10 pp for breakfast, it's not very budget-friendly but it's difficult to get value for money in Mozambique, especially in Pemba. The campsite is right next to the sea and has a kitchen for self-caterers, although no fridge, only a freezer. There are lockable trunks next to each camp area. The outdoor showers... More
