Spent a month in Namibia volunteering with EHRA and stayed at the Amanpuri for 7 nights pre, post and during the trip. It was excellent value at £9.00 a night. The dorm was clean, the linen good and clean and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. We had a shower room en-suite with hot water and good pressure at any time of the...

This was our first bed after 10 days in tents. It was great. Clean, neat, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Handy location to the CBD but far enough away to be quiet. Security was low key but effective. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were the best I have ever had. I left my passport in the safe....

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean, showers were hot and high pressure. Wifi was good in public areas, however we had one of the far back rooms that didn't get it. The breakfast was great even if a bit slow, but that wasn't really an issue. Reception staff were knowledgable and able to help with...

The Amanpuri travellers lodge has been wonderful, nice rooms, a breakfast area and a bar along with strong free wifi and piping hot water all contributing to our stay. Many of the overland trucks stop here so take that into consideration. Ground rush adventures are up stairs ready to plan your sky driving excursion.

Stayed in a 6 bed room here for two nights. The beds were very nice, and room cleaned each day. Bathroom was huge with a good shower. Breakfast was ok - could be more variety. Laundry service was same day so very convenient. The staff were very nice and helpful. The skydive centre is upstairs so you can organise this...

This place has a good comfortlevel. The beds are quite well and there are hot and cold showers. You can drink the tapwater over here and the breakfast is simple, but free. You can get yoghurt or milk with cereals and toast with jam or bacon and eggs. At the front the traffic is a bit noisy because they drive...

This little backpacker gem has all the amenities you need. Not just does it cater for the backpacker, it has very neat and compact little rooms for the business traveler, couples or individuals. Further, it is a great stay-over for the young at heart and the adventurous as the staff and management here are more than able in setting you...

Nothing fancy, but a good place for a night or two if you're passing through town. Rooms are very basic but there's what you need. Large busses with backpackers use this lodge, so expect dirty youngsters drinking beer in the courtyard.

We stayed 3 nights here in November 2015 as part of a 73 day overland safari with Absolute Africa. This was a break from camping for us and was one of several hostels that were included in the trip. Amanpuri stood out as the best for a number of reasons. It was spotlessly clean, the mixed dorms were spacious and...
