After some of the other accommodation in which we stayed during our two weeks in Namibia, the Central Guest House was a bit disappointing. The room was adequate but quite cold. Staff were noticeable by their absence a lot of the time and when they were there their attitude was quite "take it or leave it". Not the way to...

This property should not be listed. After 4 nights the owner/manager asks me what my room number is. No personal service and nobody there after 18:00. Room 7 does not have cupboard shelves to place you clothes. The hanging cupboard is stuffed with bedding. No place to place your shoes except on floor. Carpets are filthy with spots all over...

We spent two nights here with a group in June. The house was completely unmanned except for our breakfast and check in and out. The rooms were very cold and there was no way to adjust it. Several folks from our group complained about the cold. We wanted a hair drier but since we could not find anybody besides the...

We stayed here two nights. I was very disappointed about my stay at Central Guesthouse. Of course it is no hotel and doesn't have all the facilities of a hotel , but from a guesthouse you should at least expect to be treated as a guest , however ... When we arrived we got the keys and were told the...

Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, and lovely crisp bed-linen. Breakfasts were perfect. Safe parking, Wi-Fi worked most of the time. Very welcoming, helpful and pleasant staff. I highly recommend this compact guest house.

Settle in and make your day trips from here. A very comfortable stay and a fabulous breakfast. The staff is on hand to help you with anything and advise you as well! We recommend Garnish Indian restaurant- fabulous food and 20 degrees North for Italian under the stars. You can walk to restaurants, markets and beach. Do book a small...

Stayed here during our stay in Swakop. Rooms are clean and spacious with coffee available outside the room. Only a couple of short blocks to walk and you are in the downtown and coastal area. Nice breakfast. Would highly recommend.

This guesthouse has a pleasant, homely atmosphere and is located not too far from the main street. The rooms are comfortable but compact. There is a nice array of toiletries in the bathroom in pump packs, so much more user friendly than tiny hard plastic bottles. We were on the first floor and the landing was well set up for...

Stayed here for two nights en route to Brandberg and would recommend. Swakopmund is not big so this is only a couple of minutes walk to centre of town and the sea. Rooms were immaculate and we have a lovely shower. Andrea was very helpful and also did us a packed lunch to take on with us.
