We booked here as it was recommended by friends who stay in Swakopmund. The good first. The campsite is right on the beach and you hear the soothing breaking of the waves. It is really nice. The sites are well kept, and safe. The staff ultra friendly and there is limited WiFi if you go to the reception. The bad....

I was a little disapointed on my return visit to Tiger Reef Campsite. Although the sites were very neatly swept and tidy, the Ablution facilities had really deteriorated! In the "New" Showers, the Taps were coming off in your hand, the water did not drain properly, so anything on the floor (like your shoes!) were swimming away within minutes! The...

Campsite is in perfect location, right on the beach, and right alongside the Tiger Reef Restaurant which is located right on the beach. Although sites are too close to each other, when I was there it was quiet so I could pick my own site. I first had a site alongside the main office as the WIFI was only available...

Clean showers and toilets. The camp is very close to the beach and the bar but a bit further from town. The sites are a bit too close to each other. The good thing is that every campsite has a roof and a table with seats

Excellent location on the edge of town, a 2 minute walk to bars and restaurants and the beach. The bathroom/shower complex is clean and was recently remodeled and showers are hot. It was mostly empty when we were there in November, but quiet. There is a power hookup for the vehicle and a grilling pit. Would stay again.

Helpful night staff let us in to the campsite and said that we could pay in the morning when the office was open. This was great as other comapsites had turned us away as their offices were closed. Campsite is next to the beach but access is secured. Very nice pitches available in a large circle around a common green....

Location of campsite is good - next to beach and short walk to town centre. Showers were fine with hot water but toilets were a little shabby. Well-designed site with places for fires / bbqs Good for a few nights

The campsite itself is quite ok, if you are only looking for a place to set up your tent, a lot of space and nice shade for everybody. Nice location next to the sea. The ''kitchen'' is only running water in a hut, toilets are pretty dirty and no paper. No warm water in the showers (well, i wasn't even...

This place was great. Campsite had everything you need, all facilities clean and well maintained. The bar and restaurant served good food, great atmosphere; think beach hut theme with campfires in the evening. The place is right on the beach and you get a great sunset. All very reasonably priced. Sadly didnt sleep too well because we had a stormy...

We booked there December 2014, for three weeks! THE TOILETS NEVER HAD TOILETPAPER! THE ABLUTION WAS BAD! THE GEYSERS AND TAPS ARE OLD AND NOT WORKING! The NEW showers do not have a closed roof!! THIS IS NOT HOW A CAMPSITE SHOWER IN SWAKOPMUND SHOULD BE! It is cold and not cosy! The staff said they were upgrading and this...
