I have never in my life and all the places all over the world that I have stayed in , met a ruder host. He has no idea of the hospitality industry. He Is absolutely condecending and thinks he is doing you a favor. A person feels as though you are a total inconvenience to them. I have no idea...

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this Guesthouse when we stayed for 2 nights. The room was lovely, large and clean. There were many nice little touches around the place, both in the rooms and in the garden outside and the common areas. The breakfast was good too. Our hosts were helpful to us on several occasions, recommending places to...

The first impression of the Secret Garden Guesthouse belies what is behind the door. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hosts are sometimes give the impression you are in the way, although the receptionist upon arrival was very helpful. The Bistro attached to the guesthouse is well worth a visit. the location is fantastic as it is within walking...

where friendly and sometimes they gave the impression that you are an inconvenience to them. The location is a positive point as it is close (easy walking distance) to central downtown and restaurants and attractions - Tug, The Pier, Museum, Crystal Gallery etc. Rooms have heated bathroom floors only. Since we are frequent travelers to the coast during Namibia's "winter...

The rooms at Secret Garden were large, convenient and clean. We were quite stunned however by grumpy hosts, possibly people in the wrong job or scarred by previous guests? They were rude and unfriendly, we were told to "move" from the breakfast table rather than asked, when I asked if our washing would also be put in the dryer she...

The guesthouse has a charmaning set up with a nice courtyard, a little bistro and free wifi. The rooms are spacious and equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and a hair dryer. The breakfast is also very...

My husband and I had three very relaxing days staying at the Secret Garden Hotel in Swakopmund. It's a family run business that was friendly and easy to relax in. Very clean and simply room and all facilities on the one level with interesting works of art scattered throughout the garden. Inga (the daughter of the owners), and her husband...

Four stays here over the years and hopefully many more. Guest house owners that became friends, I dare say family. You want to get away from your hectic life, book yourself in and relax. Best breakfast in town by the way. Clean and cozy, an oasis of peace. MY secret garden whenever I need to recover:) Ich war vier Mal...

Room was so-so. Not very private, walls are thin and sound travels. Hosts very, very involved. They require you to leave your key at reception every time u leave the premises (even if you're going out the other way). They even scolded us for not using the touring company they recommended. Toilet didnt always flush properly.
