The perfect homely retreat for the worn out traveller. Queen sized orthopedic beds in a hostel?! You gotta be kidding me. After an intense hike up volcan Baru this is the place you want to be to rejuvenate. Not really a party hostel, if that's what you're looking for go to hostal Marmallena

This large two story hostal is operated by Bradd, an American, and Haydee his Panamanian wife, who live in the hostal and make guests feel like part of the family. One could not find a more welcoming environment or more helpful and likeable hostal managers. Their goal is to offer a five star hostal experience with excellent service. The hostal...

I can more than recommend this rather new place in Boquete. The owners (English-Spanish couple) are extremely friendly and do all they can to let you enjoy the stay. I slept in a dorm, which had queen-sized bunk beds (never seen before), TV, gigantic wardrobes for clothing and enough space ... this all for just a regular dorm price. Very...

Located a 10 minute walk to the center of town, the atmosphere at this recently opened hostel was the most enjoyable experience we had on our 2 week return to Panama, after a 50 year absence. Normally, we do not stay in hostels, but the recent Carnaval influx of people required we find some place with a vacancy. If you can't...

I stay two nights at the hostel and is a very clean and quiet. Although it is only 5 minutes walk from the town center, it seems well positioned for those seeking tranquility. It has two floors, a large kitchen and dining room. The room has three beds bedroom cabin type well distributed. The bathroom is also spacious and kept...

The Music Boutique is the best hostel in Boquete. Outside of the lovely views, large queen size bunk beds & cable TV, in every dormitory, large public areas, large bathrooms, and really private rooms with cable. You will truly appreciate the ambiance surrendered by the environment, which respectfully loans itself, in the form of a reward to this hostel. The...

We looked at a couple places in Boquete before stumbling upon MBH, which is about 5-10 minutes walk from town center. It's got a slightly weird paint scheme and name, but the inside was a complete, and welcome, shock. A lot of beautiful wood furnishings, nice dogs, lots of DVDs and, in general, a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. But...

“I had a room near the main street. There was some traffic noise, but not enough to bother me. If traffic noise bothers you, choose a room away from the street side.”

“Even the dorms were roomy and comfortable. Privates seemed pretty cozy. There's dorms upstairs on the left, one with 6 bunk beds, another with 1 double, 1 king and 2 in bunk style.”
