This is our 5th visit to this hotel and resort. We love the hotel, the solitude, etc...but the restaurant always lets us down.. This time we ordered the ribeye steak...it was not a rib eye, and it was so tough you could not cut it. They replaced it with another cut, still not a rib eye,.. and still pretty tough...

We spend a couple of nights at Las Olas Beach Resort several times a year. During the week it's especially relaxing because it's normally not too crowded. The owners and staff are delightful and very attentive. The restaurant and guest rooms have recently been updated and are spotless. The food is good and reasonably priced. Special thanks to our wonderful...

We had a 2 day reservation here through Expedia. Something happened that we were unable to stay those 2 days. I tried to cancel by phone but was unable to get any answer. I tried several hours that day to reach the hotel and even tried to email the hotel with no success. I tried to contact Expedia with no...

We offer you our sincere apologies. On that date a car crashed against a pole and cut our internet and telephone optical fiber, leaving us without phone or internet for 2 days. Unfortunately, this was during the time you tried to contact us. We realize how frustrating it was for you. Could you please send us by email at stay@lasolasresort.com...

When we stayed at Las Olas, there were hardly any other people. The rooms are spacious but are a bit outdated. The rest of the property is clean; the pool was clean although the water should be circulated more. The food in the restaurant is fantastic!! The drinks are very reasonably priced. The view is amazing! The black sand beach...

This is a lovely property with huge potential. It is in a fairly remote area but does not seem to attract the traffic it should. There are great staff who go out of their way to help. The food is good but not great. The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations but somehow the place falls short. Unfortunately it feels...

We recently stayed here with our grandson. Food is excellent but the staff desperately needs to be trained professionally. More staff is definitely a must. So few people doing so many tasks. Staff was very friendly and eager to please but had to ask for everything and sometimes they understood what you wanted but usually needed to communicate with Google...

It was 96 degrees when we were here in early Feb. Google maps very helpful to get here. No gas stations close, but 1 or 2 on way down from David. No restaurants along way either to speak of. We arrive early but they were still very accommodating and let us check in early. Lunch in hotel: cheeseburger and fries,...

My wife, daughter, and I left Bocas del Toro on a Tuesday morning by public bus and arrived at Las Olas that same evening. We had been camping on the beach, so arriving at the plush but affordable Las Olas Resort was a nice change. In the lovely dining room we met a friendly couple, who turned out to be...
