The hotel room had been upgraded with a 'new' bathroom. The room was large with 2 double or possibly queen sized beds, and a good air-conditioner. The room price is quite reasonable (and as noted by others the price on their web page or at the front desk is the same as on Expedia or Booking.com) and included 2 breakfasts...

We decided to overnight for a mini vacation before our visa trip to Costa Rica. If you stay at the hotel, we highly recommend the 1st floor pool side suites. There are five rooms that have a very nice veranda where you can sit outside and enjoy the evening under a ceiling fan. The Barbeque restaurant outside by the pool...

I was on a mission trip with a large group of around 20 people. Everything was cleaned and the room was nice. As an American it was frustrating to come back to your room and find that they had turned off the air conditioner but it doesn't take long for the room to cool back down. The restaurant service sucked...

Good hotel very central in a city with not much to do. The hotel is a good choice, the rooms are nice and everything worked perfect. They are clean and the beds are quite comfy. The staff and the service is good. The hotel offer a very good buffet.

Rooms are large and bed is great. Comfy pillows and a nice pool are. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Giving you directions and help. This town has not much to offer but the drinks are cheap accross the street at the casino.

This hotel is a nice place with some outdated structure but superb service. Every staff member has been more than willing to help and many of them speak at least enough English to help out. Some speak great English. Everyone has been very friendly and knowledgable. The area is generally safe and there is ample security on site. There is...

I went to David for my visa run from Costa Rica. The Gran Hotel was recommended by a friend. The hotel is a lovely older hotel with 3 restaurants on the premise which makes it very convenient when you don't know the area. The room had a separate sitting room with a couch and desk and a mini refrigerator. Just...

This classy old hotel has taken on a tasteful elegant decor, that befits its era and its prestige. It is beautiful, comfortable, clean and has all the modern conveniences. With breakfast included, and the choice of 3 restaurants you never have to leave. The pool is wonderful to escape and relax, making you forget you are in the middle of...
