Amazing snorkelling just to the left of the swing. Good value equipment at the ocean store. Nice food at the cafe. Was an amazing and good value experience in PNG. Family friendly. We went with friends who had 2 young kids.

Lovely place for a family outing . Staff are friendly, best snorkeling spot. We have been there on a weekend, they had a local band playing, very pleasant, quite busy, but they got the food orders right. Yummy food too. Staff are friendly and attentive.

I went to Jais Aben for a long weekend with my boyfriend and his brother, we had the most amazing time at the clear water private beach they have, while you can still interact with the locals. We bought some snorkels and we went snorkel right out of our hotel door (no need for hours in the boat like Australia!),...

A very nice place to sit and eat whilst you look out over the white sand and crystal clear water that is Jais Abens outlook. We didn't stay the night so unsure on the rooms but assume they are on par with the rest of the resort, excellent! Food was delicious and the staff were lovely and helpful. A great...

Surrounded by tropical islands this resort is nestled in a lagoon. Snorkelling on the reefs, kayaking, swimming or just relaxing at the beach bar. We will certainly be returning. Great food and beautiful views over the bay from the spacious bungalows. It was truly special. Loved it along with the friendly staff and service.

I have just returned from relaxing the past `entire` 9 days in this delightfully peaceful resort and wish to thank both the management and each of the 50 or so staff for making my stay the most restful and interesting holiday in the last 30 years. ( and I`ve been on a few, oh yeah !). Not any thing was...

This area, sadly has a growing problem of violent crime. We were booked for a weekend with two friends. We were just finishing dinner in the restaurant on the second evening when suddenly our waitresses ran out of the room as an armed gang of about six thugs, their leader brandishing a sawn-off shotgun forced their way in having slashed...

If it wasn't for the beach, the stay would have been terrible. After re confirming our booking for the amount of guests, they gave away our room. The solution offered was 'sleep on the floor'. Wow! The service is terrible and slow. No staff have any training in hospitality and no sense of urgency. The restaurant was out of just...

Thank you for your comments, although we respectfully beg to differ. This booking involved an extension of stay which does not match with this poor review. Additionally, our kitchen is run by a professional chef and it is a rare occasion indeed when we are out of a single item, never mind the excess referred to. We make every effort...

Nice place to get away from it all, briefly. We took a weekend out and went with a large group (11 of us) to Jais Aben for Saturday-Sunday. All in the group from the local Madang area. The resort is a little way out of town so it feels a bit like you're going on a journey. The staff is...

Traveled with family of 6. Rooms were filthy, cockroaches, bathroom so black with grime and mould that we didn't use the shower. Dangerous entry to our cabin, but others looked better. Thin sheets and towels that were not really clean, terrible conditioner noise and one that didn't work in my son's cabin. I would not stay here again. Small pool,...
