Overlooking the costanera, excellent service, safe parking lot. Dated. Rooms are not at an international standard. Breakfast = pretty good. Wi-fi = horrible. (And that is horrible.) ...And a couple more characters to satisfy some software developer....

Good service, but too expensive for such small lodging in a low season. Price included a very good continental breakfast. Off street parking ideal for safety conscious travelers. Older hotel but fairly well kept. A/c unit and installation a little noisy and in efficient.

View absolutely stuning! Room very comfortable and staff very friendly, although you better speak Spanish, as communication might prove difficult. Food served in the restaurant really tasty. The only issue I've found is the complete lack of soundproofing in the room. You can hear everything that's happening on costanera through closed balcony door and you can also hear other guests... Stayed here as lonely planet said it was the best hotel in town. The rooms are nice enough, clean, with air con (although the unit was a little old and noisy), comfortable bed with a duvet and plenty of pillows. Bathroom was fine although the toilet flush was a bit dodgy and be warned the water is scalding hot!! Nice... More

My wife, three kids and I stayed here for two nights. The hotel was recommended by a Paraguayan friend in the Hospitality sector, for its view of of the river and its value. It delivered. It seems to be the only hotel that is close to the River walkway. When we arrived I started unloading the bags, and quickly got... More

We spent a rainy 24 hours in this hotel. This probably colours the review a bit! The hotel is close to the river and the beach. The beach was a bit desolate when we were there, but then most beaches tend to be a bit on the depressing side when it is raining. The pool is small and was a... More

Travelling from Argentina to Foz in Brazil we stayed 1 night in this hotel. The hotel at first glance looks very nice, especially compared with other hotels in Encarnacion. It has a pleasant atmosphere . There is also a fridge in the lobby, where you can buy reasonably prized bottles of water and soda. The rooms are comfortable, clean, but... More

Shower was broken so I made a complaint to the hotel, they sent the plumbers the day after and these guys used the hotel's towels to clean up the mess they made. My surprise came when at check out the hotel charged me for those towels!! Gs. 200.000 (about 43 USD) for two towels! I could not speak to the... More

Stayed one night in the end of February 2012. No elevator. An older and not so big bedroom and a small bathroom. But we only pass by. Nothing to do in the area. But a nice view of the river and Posadas on opposite bank.

This 5-story hotel has no elevator. Has the smallest bathrooms we have ever encountered in a hotel. Has surly desk clerk and appointments such as broken sliding shower stall doors. The dinner menu is about the same as a second rate fast food joint. We ate bland hamburgers and cold French fries. Our friends had marginal pizza. The best part... More
