We’ve spent 2 nights (separate) at the Intiqa Hotel – in between an overnight-stay on the floating islands of Uros. And we loved it. Staff was really welcoming and helpful (and took care of our luggage for one day). A friendly employee even spoke to us in French (our mother tongue). Rooms were nice and spacious and breakfast was excellent....

We were picked up from the station as organised after arriving on the Andean Explorer. We are a family of 4 and had 2 rooms at either end of the corridor on the first floor - one room seemed to be right over the lobby, facing the road and the noise coming up through the floor was pretty bad. Luckily...

Nice comfy beds with fluffy duvets. The shower/bathtub provides plenty of hot water. The location is excellent. The free buffet breakfast is completely unimaginitive and blah. Don't forget about the altitude in Puno! Acclimatize first or take pills!

Intiqa Hotel is great, even more so for what you get for bargain room prices. We had two different rooms as we came back after our island stay and both had comfy king size beds and were really high spec, spotless clean, great hot showers, safes and free shampoo etc. The staff are absolutely lovely and really helpful with excursions....

The biggest reason for my rare "Excellent" review is the service. The manager (Lucy, I believe) was super helpful and spoke great English. She saved me from wandering out into Puno at 6 a.m. with my back-pack on to look for an ATM - apparently a prime time for muggings. She suggested I charge my excursion to the hotel and...

We booked the Intiqa Hotel for one night only, and liked it so much we asked to stay another night (after a single homestay-night on Amantani Island). We found Carmen and her staff helpful, the rooms bright, big, and clean, with coca tea in the lobby and a hot breakfast in the morning with lots of choices (including fresh omelettes...

The good. We stayed two nights at this hotel. The rooms were nice with two beds and a couch. The hot water was welcomed! The swans and elephants made out of towels were amazing. Very cute. The breakfast is wonderful for the most part. The bad. The staff was not friendly at all. The front desk clerk never once smiled...

We really enjoyed our two nights at Intiqa. We were met at the bus station (coming in from Cusco) for the short ride to the hotel which has an elevator. When we opened the door to our spacious suite we were greeted by two swans made out of the bath towels with two chocolates. They were so beautiful, we took...

No water available to guests so you must buy water. Staff was stoic and unfriendly. Every time we asked for help it seemed like we were an annoyance. I don't think a single staff member smiled at me once. Hot water was nice and breakfast was great but I would not stay here again.

Stayed here for one night while waiting to fly out of Juliaca. the hotel met us at the station, helped us with transportation to the airport, arranged for laundry, and were generally a delight. The onsite restaurant was good, with a good selection of dinner items and a great breakfast. I mistakenly left my glasses when we left, and they...
