We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group in July 2015. The hotel is located on a small peninsula (although you could be fooled into thinking its on an island) right on the shores of Lake Titicaca. The hotel is well appointed with an impressive foyer, wonderful restaurant and well appointed rooms. The rooms all have magnificent...

Although it probably is the best hotel in the area, it is no where near deserving of 5 stars. In the restaurants, extremely slow service along with a rude attitude. The breakfast, although it was included, was average at best. The Internet was free, as it should of been, very slow. One morning at 7:00, even though I had the...

Though this is probably the nicest accommodations in the area, the room was clean and sufficient. The view magnificent, but some of the service is lacking. Restaurant staff is not the warmest we encountered in our trip and upon departing we had to deal with a strange piece of paperwork (which we didn't have at any of the other 5...

Staff amazing. We had a really bad altitude sickness flying there from Lima directly but that didnt affect the stay. Food in hotel was exceptional. And the location... We want to go back there... Try the club sandwich;)

Good views over reed beds at end of the lake -especially at dawn & dusk. Cavernous modernistic public spaces contrast with cluttered little bedrooms (although small bathroom is good). Old fashioned safes - if you want a key you have to agree to a ludicrous penalty for loss. Cold service. On check out I was summoned back to reception to...

We loved this beautiful hotel with its superb views over the lake, and nature reserve around its base. The service was very pleasant and efficient, the bar meals and breakfast were superb, and the whole experience was understated luxury. We could happily have stayed there for a week to explore the area thoroughly. Even a quick walk through the nature...

Built on an artificial island in the bay, the views from the hotel are great; either across the bay to the city or across the lake. The public areas are very good and the food is excellent (as are the Pisco Sours). The dining staff are very good but the breakfast is severely under staffed leading to delays. Bar service...
