We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while in Puno. The rooms are crowded and outdated. The grounds and lobby areas are very nice. We heard the food was good but not so in comparison to other hotels we stayed in while in Peru. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Time for updating.

We stayed here 2 nights, with one full day of sightseeing on Lake Titicaca. During our visit we had two breakfast and one dinner in the dining room. Staff was very accommodating, however, I felt sorry for the staff as they worked them day and night. We saw the same front desk staff and dining room staff at breakfast and...

In all seriousness, when we pulled up to the hotel, we ran into 100 riot police officers preventing locals from protesting the privatization of this beautiful piece of land. We learned that the hotel sits on what used to be the nicest public park for local people, until it was privatized twenty years ago and turned into what is now...

Dear Guest, Unfortunately that has not been properly informed by your agency on this insidente; Libertador is a Peruvian company respectful of the environment and the community where we develop, unfortunately there are people who take advantage political situations to tarnish the image of companies like ours that contribute to the development of the region. Although a 5 star sign is at the entrance - the only stars worth awarding this hotel are the ones in the sky at night over Lake Titicaca. Our room was stuffy, jaded and the air-conditioning must have exceeded health and safety decibels. The hairdryer died after 4 revolutions and the breakfast was very poor. I cannot recommend this hotel...

I really can't believe this is a 5 star hotel. The rooms are very outdated. They must have put all the renovation money into the lobby area. The views are what make the hotel. Wifi not available in rooms. Great service and friendly staff. Hot tub is blah but sauna and steam room are nice.

Got the upgrade mentioned on the website when booking although suspect the package travellers get standard rooms which seem big enough when I looked at them. Room with view across lake Titicaca and a comfortable bed. If you get the time then walk around the Island as it is teeming with wild life including wild guinea pigs. Many people seem...

Good hotel with a great location on its own island. Staff are friendly. Breakfast buffet is good with strong coffee and large variety. Also with a great view. However, the rooms need updating - it's not amazing but it's good enough w comfy beds. Not luxurious but nice.

Only stayed in this Hotel for one night before going on the Cruise to Lake Titicaca. Room was basic, clean, & comfortable; could see view of Lake Titicaca; internet was extremely slow inside the room. We dined in the Hotel Restaurant. Food was good & service was ok.
