The lodge was the most surprising end to a 2 week excursion in Peru. The staff was very helpful, 5 star service. Food preparation meticulous and delicious. You have to take the full day excursion to floating islands and Tequile Island The views are breathtaking

Where to begin. Titilaka offers one of the most unique lodging experiences anywhere in the world. Lake Titicaca, the mystical Andean birthplace of the sun, sitting at 13,000 is enough to take your breath away by itself. But the lodge. Wow. Everything was amazing. The setting on its own private peninsula jutting into the lake is amazing, as is the...

Went to Titilaka for three nights. After a two hours terrible ride from Juliaca airport we arrived to the resort in the afternoon. We went straight to the restaurant for lunch. Our first (and lasting) impression of the Titilaka was a modern, clean and cosy place. The restaurant has lake view with high ceiling. All over there are resting places...

Lake Titicaca is a must on any trip to Peru. Treat Yourself to this small pearl right on the lake, blissfully away from everything but nature. An all inclusive hotel that arranges great tours around the lake and its sights. Most of the staff, including guides, are locals, so You really get the feel of the area. Go visit the...

An amazing experience - stunning rooms with spectacular views, wonderful service and an all inclusive service experience with a range of great experiences. We LOVED every second of our stay. Particularly recommend the lake excursions to Taquile Island and the floating villages and the land excursions (bike ride and picnic).

Did not do justice to this. I had a cold prior to going and together with some altitude sickness I spend most time in bed. Ate little. They did give me oxygen and some chicken soup but only felt well when I got back to sea level. The facilities are great and just sorry I could not go on any...

If you want to get the most of Lake Titicaca in Peru, this is the place to stay. A unique lodge just by the lake with its own pier and boattrips to the islands. It takes some time to get there but it is definitely worth it. Peacefull location with a fantastic view of the lake. It is an "all...

Well..you never expect such a place in such an environment. But it starts at the airport, pickup by the very friendly staff. Checkin was very smooth, the room perfect - and i won't tell you about the bed...it's just magic. Choose a room with sea-view and stay at least 3 nights, especially if you fly in from Lima (not really...

It is a 2 hour ride from the Juliaca airport. It is at almost 13,000 feet and we all felt poorly because of it. The Hotel is 3 floors with no elevator, so if you are handicapped, or worried about climbing two flights of stairs- ask for a ground floor room. During the day the sun heated the room and...

Just came back from a gorgeous trip in Peru. We ended by this hotel. we paid 2000 dollars for two days and we felt that it was way too expensive compare to all other hotels. Yes it is lost on the highest part of the like. Yes food is included but not at the top of the Peruvian gastronomy. yes...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Infinite skies, snowcapped peaks and limitless shimmering waters will be your companions at this luxury lodge on a remote, private peninsula on the shores of Lake Titicaca. All 18 rooms look out on to the mystical Andean lake, birthplace of the fabled Inca Empire and still home to some of Peru’s farthest-flung communities, many of whom benefit from our operations. Responsible, sustainable development is at the heart of Titilaka’s philosophy; more than 90% of staff are locals and we source food locally as much as possible, while our business model focuses on conserving Andean traditions. Sunsets and the star-speckled night sky here are once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Daytime activities range from exploring Inca and pre-Inca ruins, to visiting the floating reed islands of the Uros people, to leisurely hiking or biking through stunning Andean scenery. The lodge has a sophisticated modern touch and, with its sensational Peruvian cuisine, is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. ... more   less
