I had my wedding in Frangeli last February 26, 2022. The place is Instagram-worthy. I think my guests spent more time taking pictures than congratulating us :p I really liked the ambiance of the house, it looked cozy but grand. The bathrooms were super clean and stylish. The location is not too far from Baguio proper but you do have to be careful while driving as there's a narrow and high road leading up to the gates. Over-all it was an enchanting place. I'm thankful I found it online when looking for a wedding venue. Shout-out to the very accommodating host, Ms. Chaya! <3

Frangeli House has been my 'non negotiable' location for our wedding. The entire place was already so beautiful even without any grand decorations. Maam Chaya and her staff were very responsive to our inquiries and very accommodating during our stay. We really had a good time during our wedding and we are so happy that we were able to celebrate a special milestone in our lives in a magical place like Frangeli House. 5/5. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED❤️🏡

Ever since we saw a friend posted that they had their wedding in Frangeli House, we knew that this would be the place that will witness our union as well. The place is beautiful in all its rawness. It is captivating, the house in its elegance and grandness, and the lush gardens in their richness. The sunset view was gorgeous. Every corner of the place is picturesque. We would love to celebrate every milestone here.
Ms. Chaya was also very friendly and accommodating! She was also very keen on the cleanness of the place which we really admire and respect.

The uncontrolled commercialization of what was once paradise-like Baguio City has turned it into a sorry, desolate and heavily polluted metropolis. If not for its cool weather, tourists will probably have shunned it by now. But, when you enter the compound of Frangeli House, you are taken back to the era of what Baguio used to be. Plants, blooms, trees, birds, wide open spaces, and the unmistakable invigorating smell of Nature at its best, will welcome you as you appreciate the European-like façade of the magnificent house at the center of it all. The owners are delightfully warm and friendly, the staff so hospitable and helpful. Kudos to the CLAVER family, particularly the extremely amiable CHAYA. Thanks for making our family’s stay truly memorable and unforgettable

We had our wedding last January 11 2020 at Frangeli house. The place is really beautiful and has the perfect ambiance for rustic garden weddings. The place is super clean and spacious.. the only con is that it's a bit of a challenge getting to the location due to tight roads and it's a bit secluded.. but it's definitely worth the travel, once you get there and see the place, the owner and her staff are nice and helpful din.

A big big thank you for the kind words. If only we can do something about the entrance we would do! Baguio residential roads are really getting smaller and smaller with all the buildings popping up without sidewalks. Im glad you enjoyed your wedding, and Im sure your guests did to. <3 Until your next milestone!

This place is perfect for an intimate wedding. The house alone is already beautiful and the gardens (front and back) are well maintained. The staff are friendly and accommodating most especially to Ms. Chaya. Highly recommended for events or stays.

It was a dream come true to get married here! it made teh event very rustic, homey and private. We didn't even have to spend too much on decorations because the gardens and the house were beautiful enough on their own. The gardens were big enough to fit 200 guests and the interior of the house served as a beautiful stop over for cocktails before moving to the backyard for the reception.

The owners are very accommodating and gave in to all our requests to help make our dream wedding come true!

Our location search for our prenuptial shoot lead us to Frangeli House which ended up to be a nice choice because it provided us not only an outdoor setting (garden, trees etc) but also an indoor mansion like environment good alternative if in case the weather becomes unpredictable. It cost us 8.5k for a six hour photo and video shoots. We had brought our own foods and the main bathroom was very clean. They had this big staircase perfect for a classic don and dona setting with matching fireplace and a piano. I think they all the props necessary for whatever motif or idea a couple has for a prenup shoot. Plus it was just below Alfonsons campsite where we booked our overnight stay in preparation for an early prenup shoot call. Overall it was a nice experience though we forgot to take our own mobile pictures because we were so busy posing and changing clothes. :)

I was the event organizer for my friends' wedding held last November 2015 and they decided to hold their garden reception at Frangeli House. Since we needed to be in Baguio a day before the wedding, I made arrangements to stay at one of the rooms with my team of coordinators.

The house was very nice! It was big and spacious at the ground floor, with a living room, formal dining room, library and conference room which can be used for various purposes. The garden was lovely, and it was nice to hang out at the veranda by the garden.

All the guest rooms are located upstairs. We were given a room with 3 beds, and ensuite bathroom, and it was functional enough for us to be able to work and/or get much needed rest. However, there was no TV. Breakfast per person came with our room package, so we were also asked for our breakfast preferences ahead of time. They also allowed us to have food delivered, and even provided their directory of restaurants and fast-food stores that deliver to their area. And although there was no A/C in our room, the windows were big enough to let in the cool Baguio air (who needs airconditioning in Baguio, anyway?!?)

There are just a couple of things based on my observations:
- breakfast options were quite limited, but the food presentation was nice, and served in the dining room
- room rate was quite pricey (PhP3500/night for 2 pax, PhP1500 per additional head) compared to other B&Bs (even additional breakfast per head was a bit overpriced in my honest opinion)
- it might be a challenge for some guests to reach the place, because you will have to go through a very steep and narrow road, and some of our guests drove lowered vehicles, so it was a bit difficult for them to drive to the house
- they are not as responsive via e-mail, and the contact number they provided cannot be reached at times

Over-all it was a very comfortable stay, and it was a very different experience from my past trips to Baguio.

And yes, we got to experience a beautiful wedding in this place. :-)

Very rude staff! that man (the maids call him "sir") cut off the parachute that our vendor supplied and said "wala along pakialam" imagine, being paid 25k and you don't care about your client! grabe, don't take money from your clients if you don't care about them. They're not the only garden venue in baguio city - there are a lot and accommodating venues out there, don't think you're special.

is it a good place for a wedding venue ?
Answer from ikalinea

Hello! After a 1 year hiatus, Frangeli House will reopen next year but would take reservations by the end of this month. We will formally announce our reopening then with new guidelines because we are reorienting the use of Frangeli as an eco and bird sanctuary. Because of this, we have made a few changes that would mean different guidelines in having events at the place (i.e. event times, maximum capacity, etc.). We will update everybody on our Facebook, website, and Instagram pages when the exact dates will be once we know the place is perfect and ready to take in guests. Our place is perfect for small intimate garden weddings. Send us your email address so we can send you the wedding guidelines. Thank you for understanding. Have a wonderful day and we hope to see you next year when we reopen! Frangeli House Baguio
