I fell in love with the place the minute I opened the door. The facilities were great but the view was jaw dropping. My family felt so at home with Mrs. B, she set the bar when it comes to hospitality. If you are going to stay in Baguio, forget those five star hotel in John Hay, take a look at Country Place, you won't regret it.

Charming and cozy house; clean and comfortable rooms; well appointed kitchen; breathtaking view at night; lovely gardens and best of all, warm and attentive staff. They think of everything to make your stay truly memorable. They even have a masseuse on call and an excellent cook you can hire to prepare your meals. Best Baguio vacation we've had so far! 😄

First of all, the place is easy to find, there’s parking, and the structure is absolutely beautiful! In addition, the beds are cozy, there is always hot water, and the breakfast by Ella is scrumptious. But, I think the best thing about TCP is Mrs. B - she is an absolute gem of a woman! She gave us great dining suggestions, and is super warm and helpful! Not to mention the view from the living room is breathtaking. Pro tip: wake up early and watch the sunrise from the balcony - it’s truly a sight to behold!

I think we’ve found our home in Baguio! Will definitely be back ❤️

This is a wonderful and spacious place for family bonding. Spacious open space for the living room, dining room and the kitchen; huge, clean windows that overlook the city center; amenities for great bonfires. I was impressed that the kitchen was very well equipped - it had all the gadgets/tools we needed for cooking. The living room was tastefully decorated (for early Christmas). Mrs B, the gracious and loquacious host of Country Place, is a treasure trove of info about the best places to eat and shop. Tips: 1) as a backup, bring your portable wifi; the PLDT internet connection in this place is spotty; 2) water pressure is stronger at the lower unit (Residence 2) and the dining table is much larger, but Residence 3 commands the best view of the city; 3) this place is also great for strategic planning or team building retreats (one unit can accommodate as many as 10 pax). Many thanks, Mrs. B, for making our stay so memorable and fun! Special thanks, too, to Van for his attentive support during our 3-day stay.

It deserves a new name: The Happy Place. This is how I could sum up my experience staying here. Last May I joined my best friend's family to spend a quick vacation in Baguio City. My friend died last year and the family wanted to spend his death anniversary in the summer capital, a city very close to his heart. It could have been a stressful vacation for all of us considering how overcrowded Baguio City has become, especially that May is a tourist season. But everything turned out just perfect and that's mainly because The Country Place was simply the best venue in many ways. First, its location is very ideal. If you are looking for a place that's tucked away from the noisy streets of the city but still is close to the business center, this is the place! It's accessible by jeep, taxi or private drive without going through complicated winding roads. It is situated on a hill that gives you an elevated view of the heart of the city. That view becomes more picturesque at night, I assure you. Second, The Country Place is well maintained, updated, and functional! It's designed as country and contemporary at the same time, which gives you the feel of both the classic and modern Baguio vacation experience. Its rooms are made to suit different types of space requirements from guests. In our case, we needed separate rooms for couples, children, and families. This never became a problem because The Country Place has those types of rooms that could comfortably accommodate us. Clean comfort rooms, check! Hot shower, check! Finally, what I most liked about The Country Place is that it offers spaces that's perfect for intimate bonding moments with friends and family. The living rooms have comfy large sofas that are perfect for lounging while exchanging banters and gossips. The large windows in the dining area gives you a breathtaking view of the city as you sip your morning coffee and talk about the city's colorful history. In the evening, I enjoyed watching the children lit a bonfire and toasted some marshmallows. The adults enjoyed our talks as we relived some memories about our departed loved one. It felt like we were spending the vacation in our own backyard. The Country Place was just perfect.

I spent my birthday weekend at The Country Place and couldn't have been happier. The residence is very tastefully decorated. The views are incredible, with floor to ceiling windows in the kitchen and a beautiful little sunroom off the lounge area. It was hard to leave the residence to go see the city!

I arranged for the long time family housekeeper to prepare a few meals. Virgie has been with the family since she was 16 and she knows how to cook! I am not normally a fan of Filipino food, but Virgie's longanisa and scrambled eggs are worth a return trip.

The atmosphere is completely different than being in a hotel. You truly feel at home. While I stayed alone, it would be ideal for couples traveling together, as there are separate bedrooms and bathrooms.

5 stars!

Great place to bond with family. A home away from home. You cook your food or get a delivery, staying at this place is experiencing Baguio. There's a fire place, view at night is beautiful, as its overlooking the city. Living room and Dining room are spacious, Kitchen is fully equipped with amenities. Bedrooms are comfortable and overall the place is very clean. The bonus is there's fire pit that we use in the garden for a night of bonfire. Its near the Grotto for the Sunday mass. There's a Puregold mart for your food and supplies. Security is 24 hours. Mrs B, the host, is very pleasant and helpful

The Country Place is a charming and quaint three tiered self service residence with an on-call butler and cook. It is ideal for families with each residence comfortably accommodating 8 to 10 adults.

Residence 3, sleeps 8 (with 1 on a rollaway bed). It offers the best views of the city and is the friendliest for seniors and with disabilities since it the most accessible to the street level parking garage of the property.

It has now been operating for close to three years and Mrs. B and her staff have been meticulous with the property's upkeep. The furnishings are tasteful. The gardens are well spruced and ideal for day time contemplations or evening bonfires.

WiFi | Cable Tv | IPod Dock (non-Bluetooth enabled) are available.

There's also a Staff and Driver's Quarters available within the property.

The Country Place is comparable to the quaint B&Bs in the UK/NZ/Australia and this is partly due to Mrs. B's impeccable hospitality and her attention to guest needs. And best of all she gives you all the tips and tricks of making your trip to Baguio memorable and reasonably affordable.

Without a doubt, my family and I will be back and spread the word about the Country Place.

I can't believe we only found out about this place recently! The Residence 3 is the most charming among the 2 other houses, but I would say all 3 houses in Country Place are all well-appoints. The manager Mrs.B definitely knows what she is doing with this cozy place, you would not even want to get out of the house anymore, that's how cozy and peaceful it is. MUST COME BACK SOON!
