This is our 2nd time to stay here and will definitely book again! House is spacious, clean and in a nice location. It is near tourist spots and attractions around the city. Kitchen is complete with cookware, utensils and appliances. The care taker is also very accommodating to our needs. Good for family vacation. All in all you'll love this place.

Charming is the first adjective that came to mind when I saw the place. It really felt like I wasn't in the Philippines. The look of the place suits the cool weather of Baguio. We rented the 5 bedroom villa called Long Leaf. We were 17 so we thought we wouldn't fit but Louis told us that there were 2 unfinished rooms at the basement. If we didnt mind that it was unfinished, we can occupy that space too. We checked it out first we found it ok, just needed additional pillows and clean sheets and it was good to go!! He allowed us to use it and charged a very minimal fee 👍🏻 for that, we were truly happy !! Everyone fit ! And each level had its own bathroom and there were even rooms that had its own. Love the layout of the unit , not too big not too small, enough bathrooms for a big family. But there are several things they need to repair and improve on. They could learn to clean the place better. When we got to the house , there were a lot of flies in the kitchen area, a little spray of Baygon could have avoided that. There was a dead cockroach in the attic bathroom. Over all cleanliness needs to be improved. Kitchen needs to be repaired as thefinish of the cabinets are old looking and faucet was kind of falling off. They also need to provide better utensils, tableware and kitchenware. And they need to provide at least for the minimum number of people that they say the villa can accomodate. The sofa is also due for cleaning or for replacement . The overall ambiance of the place is charming and homey . It has a lot of potential to be a perfect Baguio getaway for big families. I sincerely hope that the management can address all the issues of the house and improve over all cleanliness. Staff was friendly and accomodating 😊... I would recommend to friends and family. But really hoping that all issues can be addressed by the time we book the place again 😊

I heard about this place in an article by When in Manila and I've been wanting to stay here but just couldn't find the perfect timing for me and my friends. You see, given the price, it would be best to have ten pax to offset the cost among yourselves.

As luck would have it, my brother was coming up with his family and wanted my family to join them for the long weekend. So that was two couples with five kids and two yayas all in all.

The place was easy to find first of all. TIP: Input Secret Garden (the restaurant) in Waze and drive past this to find the place (along Pedro Paterno street). You'll see a driveway of townhouses and these units have their own two car garage enough to to fit two SUVs. This was a very good design as it made unloading/loading of our bags easy without getting wet from the rain. Trust me, we came up during a storm and this kind of garage was a blessing.

There are four floors in the house with a total of five rooms (w/toilet & bath each) though three of these bathrooms are accessed from outside the rooms. A good design since they are located on the dining room floor and attic/playroom so you can use the bathroom w/o entering the room and disturbing whoever is still asleep but doesn't exactly mean privacy if your the type who comes out the bathroom with nothing but a towel on.

Basement has one room (two single beds) right at the entrance from the garage. TIP: aside from the masters bedroom, this room has its own bathroom and is the quietest room as it is away from the playroom (can get noisy if you have toddlers) and the kitchen, dining room, and sala.

Ground floor has another room (double sized bed) along with the kitchen (complete but no toaster, kitchenware is good for six TIP: bring paper plates and disposable utensils not to mention plastic cups), dining room, and sala. There is an LCD TV here so bring USB with movies/series. I would avoid this room if you are a light sleeper with friends who plan to drink all night.

2nd floor has the third room (two single beds) and very spacious Masters Bedroom (the only room with an LCD TV and toilet w/bidet) (queen sized bed if I'm not mistaken).

The last bedroom is found on the attic (can't remember if two singled beds or a double bed) but this floor also has a HUGE playroom perfect for toddlers (just bring their toys) as the there is a small gate on the stairs to prevent them from going down on their own. There is a sofa here with LCD TV as well so quite cozy for family movie time.

There is also a maids room and drivers room with bathroom but they are located in the garage.

The place over all is huge and very, very clean. The housekeeping is always going around so they are very helpful and easily found. This is a great place for families with kids or barkadas. I enjoyed my stay here despite the stormy weather and blackouts but luckily, they had a generator going to run all appliances including a strong WIFI (they have internet with decent speed thank goodness). Since there was bad weather, we were home most of the time and I truly enjoyed this place. Had there been better weather, we may still have opted to stay home as you can't beat this place.

We were lucky as our neighbors were quiet but make no mistake, a good drinking session here with friends and you'll have your neighbors complaining as these homes are literally next to each other. Drop those blinds for privacy.

Best tip, buy a crapload of groceries and beer before coming. Bring Manang to do the cooking. Have breakfast on the balcony!

I saw this listing in airbnb then read great reviews. I had a list of other places but chose St. Patrick because the host was quick to respond. Paid php6,746 for 2 nights. I can say it's higher compared to other listings but I don't mind paying more if you'll get the value of your money. Prior to booking, I asked if wifi is available in the room and was told yes. I asked because I know i will badly need it for some important matters and that my mobile data signal will not be as fast because I will be in the mountain. When we entered the room, I first noticed that the bed is small for 2 persons. It is a double-sized bed (smaller than queen). But I can't do anything about it anymore. At night, when I needed to use the internet, it won't connect even after several attempts. The receptionist tried to assist until they resulted to have me go down the lobby because the wifi signal won't reach our room. I said I can'y stay there because I will be talking with some people about confidential matters. They then asked me to go to the cafeteria instead because there was no one there. But still, the wifi isn't working. I had no choice but to stay in the lobby. I was promised that the internet will be fixes 1st thing in the morning. Because we were ready to check out that night. The internet worked fine at around 10AM when we told them that it is still not working. When we got back at night, same issue happened and another receptionist said that he does not know what happened. So I again resulted to staying at the lobby. I would understand if there are a lot of guests using the wifi so we can't connect anymore. But the receptionist said that we are the only 1 that is checked in that night. Another problem is before we went out on our second day, I asked a girl receptionist if we can have the room cleaned before we go back because there were dusts in the room especially the wine glass and mugs. that was around 2pm, she happily said yes. When we got back at 9pm, the room was not cleaned at all. A guy receptionist just said that housekeeping was not able to clean. The service was really unsatisfactory overall. And i was even not allowed to talk to the host when I asked them. They said that they were the ones who manages the site and responds to questions. Not Jerrison, who is the registered host.

My brother chose this charming house for the whole family to stay. We're total of 9 with 2 adorable little boys. It's a village with few houses you can rent in. It was relaxing as the place is quiet with green views around. The house have 3 floors and a basement.
At the basement, they have the garage which will fit 2 cars and a driver or maid's quarter. On the first floor, where dining and kitchen area, living room (with TV), a small room, bathroom beside it and the balcony are located. At the 2nd floor, there's 2 rooms, the other one with twin beds and the other one with king size bed with small balcony. The bathroom is located between these two rooms. What I love is the attic, there are twin beds (with TV), small chairs and tables as play area for kids and another small room. There's no airconditioner since the place have windows all over and it's open so cool air comes in freely. They also provide clean towels and toiletries. The furniture are modern and stylish but comfortable. Though the only problem were the bathrooms as the water flows out of the shower room and it stays until the next day. However, it's still a great place to stay with the whole family or friends.

I discovered Upperhouse Baguio when a friend shared their page in FB. Looking at the pictures, I instantly knew that this had to be the place for us. We were 3 families travelling together with our parents who are Balikbayans - total of 16 including one maid and one driver. The house looked perfect in the pictures.

I booked with them through email. The reservations / front desk team is very efficient. I never had to pick up the phone to give them a call if I had any queries because they respond to emails right away. They required a 50% down payment which can be settled through bank deposit or credit card payment (through an Authority to Charge form).

We were not disappointed when we arrived. What you see is what you get. The house had 4 levels (lower ground, upper ground, 2nd and 3rd). The rooms were tastefully decorated each with its own toilet/bath (with water heater). The lower ground - garage level, had a room. It did not have a window but it was the quietest and coolest room in the house. The upper ground - dining and kitchen / living room (with TV) level also had another room. The 2nd floor housed two rooms, one of which is the master’s bedroom - the biggest room with TV & DVD player, walk in closet and room safe. The third level had one more room and a big play area / attic that had another TV. The sofa is a pull out sofa than can convert into a queen sized bed. Three of the rooms had queen beds while two rooms had 2 single beds. Rooms were clean. Beds are very comfortable. Sheets are of good quality. Towels were provided for along with soap and shampoo. Hairdryer can be requested. No dental kit. Free wifi (fast enough) but will not reach the third level.

The dining area had a dining table that sits 6. It extends to an outdoor porch that has another table that can sit 6 more. Kitchen is complete with pots and pans, a gas stove top, microwave oven, rice cooker, electric kettle, freezer/refrigerator, glasses, mugs, plates and utensils. A gallon of water in a water dispenser was provided for complimentarily. If you need a refill, they charge very reasonably at P60 per gallon. If there was anything else you need that is not in the kitchen, you can ring for housekeeping and they will bring it up for you.

At the garage level, the house had a 2 car garage (if you go over, they have some space to park up front ) and 2 maid’s(with bunk beds) / driver’s room plus toilet/bath (with heater)

Housekeeping did a very good job of cleaning the whole house everyday. It was not hard to cook some meals in the house as the kitchen was fully equipped. They have an outdoor gas grill that you can request to use for a fee. There was also a mini convenience store that sold chips, ice cream, chocolates, drinks, ice, toiletries, and a little grocery items like rice, eggs, soy sauce etc.

Location was good for us. Upperhouse is very close to Camp John Hay. We usually stayed away from the city center to avoid the traffic. It is not located directly on the main road so it was generally quiet at night. We did have issues with rowdy neighbors who did not have any plans of sleeping and wanted us to stay awake with them with all their ruckus. The houses are very close together. Add to the fact that you sleep with the windows open at night so you hear everything from the house next to you.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely book Upperhouse again in the future. Well recommended for big groups or families. Excellent place for bonding time without having to compromise privacy.

Pros:
1. Great location. Villas are just beside the Baguio Country Club.
2. Huge villa. It can accommodate a big family with 5 bedrooms. It also has an attic and separate rooms for nannies and drivers. It has a functional kitchen for dining needs.
3. Service was not great but ok.

Huge letdown:
The bathrooms drains were clogged. Water would flow out of the shower area and into the wash area. We had to control the faucets otherwise water would likewise flood the bedrooms. Same goes with the clogged kitchen sink. Water started to flood the kitchen on our 2nd day.

Huge plumbing renovation is needed.

We booked for December 28-December 30 initially but we enjoyed our stay so much that we had to extend one more night. Luckily it was available! We were given a unit accessible from Tavera Street and since we had 3 cars, one car could be parked diagonally in front of the garage. On the lower level you'd find the maids/drivers quarters with its own bathroom. There are a total of 5 rooms and it suited our group of 14 perfectly.

Pros:
- The kitchen had complete amenities so we cooked a couple of meals here instead of eating out
- Beds were comfortable, we all slept well
- Spacious living room, a balcony with a view, each room also had adequate space to move around
- Large master's bedroom and couch by the bay window, also had its own veranda
- All rooms had their own bathroom even if it was outside the room itself, so we didn't have to crowd the bathrooms
- Strong wifi signal except for the attic but negligible

Things to improve on:
- Housekeeping. We were told if we wanted them to clean the villa, we just had to call. But for the 4D/3N we were there, we had to follow up a couple of times before they came. Would it help if they stocked the villas with a broom, mop or floor rugs so guests could do the minor cleaning? Any additional toiletries, towels, and picking up of trash had to be followed up a couple of times.
- Ashtray they gave on the first day, they got on our last night since they claimed that other guests in the garden needed it. So they got ours, which we mentioned we were using. After a call to the front desk, they sent us another one. Minus point for this.
- Utensils were only good for 6 persons so we brought disposable ones too. Maybe they could add more than 6?

Found out upon check-out that they only maintain a small number of staff, hence the delays in housekeeping. But we had stayed during peak season, and St Patrick Village should also make adjustments to their staffing since they are aware they are running full occupancy. We paid an additional premium rate for our stay (regular rate is 18,000 per night and peak season is 24,000 per night.) Nevertheless, everything else was good. We would love to stay at St Patrick Village again the next time we go to Baguio.
