We booked the regular room at 1,500 a night thru Agoda. Considering the cheap price at a peak season, I can say that this is not a bad place to crash especially if you will leave early the following day. The room is very basic but clean and well ventilated. It is a 9 sqm. Room, Located at the basement of the building (we are located on B3, room 13) with 1 cabinet, 1 small TV, a phone, double bed, 1 towel, 1 hand towel, 1 soap shampoo and toothbrush. Yes, no bottled water but there is a water dispenser at the checkin counter for free. By default there is no electric fan in the room but you can simple request for a fan without a charge. The toilet is clean, dry, and have heater. Water supply is good and has a window (Ventilation is a big deal for me especially if the room is cramped). There is a veranda that you can open if you want to get some air but there will be no view. Again, proper ventilation, room is cramped but you will not be suffocated and no foul smell lingering in the room (a big plus). You can also smoke at the veranda if you are a smoker.

The location is a bit far from the famous tourist spots as it was located at a tip of Marcos highway before entering the main Baguio. but it was not a big deal for us. If you have a car probably you wouldn't care too. As long as there are food store, restaurants that I can buy at, I'm all good.

There's a couple of restaurants/bar on the second floor but it is a bit pricey for me considering they don't look tasty for me (sorry). There is a 711 store on the ground floor which is a big plus. Also, they have an elevator to serve you 24hours. Wifi is good but not blazing fast.

The are only three cons I can think of: one, is the parking space. Parking space is tight and is located on the basement floor but secured because of the guard. Good thing there were only 1 car parked when we arrived at night. If you are not too OC with your car, you can park in front of the building. If you are planning to go out frequently especially at night, I recommend to park outside because it is kindly stressful to go back and forth to the basement and stress the guard assisting you all the time.

Second, the room and bed is small if you have a kid or a baby. So better get the next level room or look for a queen bed.

Third, weak Smart signal in the room. LTE is not working, good thing wifi is good.

Over all, it was not bad at all! It serves us well for a good price.

Casa Bel

At first we had a good impression..
polite guard & staff.
Upon checking in, they already provided the wifi password with the room key.
Furnitures & fixtures- just right. Linens are clean & nice I just wonder why they only provided
1 bath towel
1 hand towel
1 dental kit & a set of shampoo & soap
... considering that I booked for 2.. 😁

Since we traveled from manila to baguio early morning, we weren't able to get a good sleep really! thats why we had to sleep to gain some energy immediately after checking in... but it wasnt a good idea at all.. there's so much noise around. There's a construction going on (don't know exactly where), doors keep slamming, they keep on moving furnitures from the other room & to the nxt floor.. seriously we had a hard time sleeping.. and we we're not aware that it was a non-aircon room... (it was not indicated when we booked so better if u'll clarify it first) thats why we had to keep the windows open even at night.

Would I recommend it? Nope.. because its too far from the main attractions.. they don't offer breakfast but there's a 7-11 in the same building incase u want something to eat. Rate?.. i suggest try other hotels w/ a little more cost but definitely reasonable.. there are hotels that would charge a bit more but includes buffet breakfast & will lessen the transpo expenses anyway..

Forgot to mention.. the room has a small veranda but the view isn't so pleasing.. there are clutters & construction materials were scattered.
My suggestion to them.. keep all the construction materials in one side so it will not ruin the view..
and better if they will provide a small table & chair in the veranda.. that wont cost them much but will definitely give more appeal in their future guests.

Very good room with convenient location along Marcos Highway, where it's easy to catch jeepney or taxi to get downtown or wherever you want to go .... but try to avoid busy rush hour times when taxis/jeepneys are mostly full and many roads are congested. Fares to downtown Baguio are usually P10 for jeepney and P 150 +/- for taxi (all of our Baguio taxis used meter without question). About 10-15 minute taxi ride during normal traffic; one day we walked to downtown and it took a little less than an hour. Baguio seems to be a hub/spoke city, as we had to go to or close to downtown before going to other tourist destinations.

The Hotel is unusual as the check-in office is on first underground parking deck for the building (no real lobby, just a small seating area in office with a TV and hot/cold water dispenser). All rooms are in the next three lower levels connected by elevator; we could not hear Marcos Highway traffic unless we opened our windows, and we had a corner room. Staff allowed us to keep our bags there during our last day before our overnight bus trip back to Manila.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating; when our TV cable box malfunctioned they replaced it within 15 minutes. Room was very clean and quite large for the budget price. Bathroom and shower area were also clean and large, with shower curtain and hot water. Towels and soap were provided. All of the "underground" hotel rooms had good view of valley below, as hotel is along downhill side of Marcos Highway. Rooms face SE, so room was bright every sunny morning.

There is 7-11 store on main level just about 1 minute from the elevator, for convenient place to purchase items. Baguio Craft Brewery is maybe 5 minutes walk down the road. There is a good restaurant (breakfast buffet incl coffee & juice for P199) about 3 minutes walk up Marcos Highway at the Podium Botique Hotel. We did not eat breakfast at the restaurant on 2nd floor of our building as they only had 2 of their menu items available (plus no one else was there !). We heard that the Casa Bel Inn used to offer free breakfast at this 2nd floor restaurant, but that is no longer available.

We will definitely stay here again, as it was a great value, very clean, friendly staff, and at a good location to catch rides to all destinations.

Great staff. Comfortable rooms, hot water, good WiFi, good water pressure, Cable TV (needs a few more channels). Everything you need within the locality. Try Baguio Craft Brewery just down the road, great place. Plenty of taxis on the road outside and jeepneys.

The room we rented is good for 2 person. Very clean, nice shower and heater is working well.

Accommodating and nice staff. 7/11 is available downstairs. Far from session road and that is what we want not to be located in the city as much as possible.

They gave us extra towel when we asked for it, because only one is present, with hot and cold water in the reception you can have free refill.

Con:

You cannot choose for your free breakfast, and the one we had did not pass out taste pallette. Hope they can improve on this.

Overall we had a nice overnight stay.

We're here right now and Baguio City in enveloped with darkness. Having a generator set is of great value to its occupants! Although mobile services is an issue, their wifi connection could compensate it anyway. Baguio Brewery is just a 3-minute-walk away!

Casa Bel Inn is a simple yet comfortable accommodation you can get. Their rooms and comfort rooms are clean. If you're a fly by day and don't intend to stay long in your accommodation, then book here at Casa Bel Inn. They also have complimentary breakfast. Since this is along the road, taxis are accessible.

Cozy, CLEAN, convenient and comfortable but well within budget! There are two restaurants, a gym and a 7/11 in the same building. It's also only a few minutes away from Dinosaurs Island, Holy Land and a stone's throw away from Baguio Craft Brewery! !
