A week ago I am in this hotel arrived and my first impression was more than confirmed. I see some areas for improvement here and there, but they can all be remedied with some good will or an investment. The greatest added value of this hotel are the employees at all visible levels. It starts upon arrival when you are helped out of the taxi with your luggage. It is hospitality at its best that you feel. The generous smile is still there when you happen to turn around, with everyone. That, by the way, characterizes the Filipino mentality. I use room 1805 and have a lovely large double bed with excellent pillows. The air conditioning is easy to adjust and provides a comfortable temperature. There is ample storage space in cupboards and drawers. In the hallway there is a small pantry with coffee, tea and kettle, a microwave and a spacious (empty) refrigerator. Then the spacious bathroom with bath, unfortunately no separate shower. That's what I would prefer myself. No wasting water by filling large bathtubs, but a shower that has considerable power and whose temperature can be adjusted a bit higher. I like a little warmer water. The breakfast is varied and I soon noticed Catherine who is constantly walking around, but mainly observing and acting. She clearly has a manager role without constantly handing out orders. She works hard and if not harder. She surprised me after just a few days by approaching me and asking her to get my orange juice without ice. How is it possible that with so many guests, she has so much eye for detail AND does something with it. With such service you touch the hearts of your guests and I see Catherine's passion for that. No effort is too much for her. Let me not detract from the hospitality and friendliness of all other employees, but she is special. The large gym and outdoor swimming pool also give this hotel something extra, especially if you stay longer. The fact that the Glorietta and the Greenbelt Mall are steps away from the hotel makes it even more valuable to choose Ascott Makati. Finally, a word of thanks to Lyra, the permanent room maid who takes care of my room six days a week. Super friendly and attentive! Luckily I still have five nights of stay ahead of me, but when I travel next If you can book a trip to Manila, this hotel is my first choice

The Ascott Makati is a service apartment hotel right smack dab in Makati . The location is great because it right next to Glorietta 4 so there is easy access to restaurants and shops. The rooms itself are spacious (we stayed in a 1 BR deluxe and 1BR premier suite - we stayed there two different times in August) and fully equipped. It has an all in one washer and dryer and a stocked kitchen. In general the room was acceptable except for the first stay we encountered cockroaches and in the second room, the kitchen was oddly placed - making it difficult to get glasses. The breakfast buffet is okay - has both Western and Filipino food. Not extensive choice but acceptable with an eggs station and coffee station where you order your coffee the way you like it. But just avoid the juices - they were horrible - tasted like powdered drink mixes. The service however was excellent. We came in late the first night and there was a reception there ready to welcome us. The housekeeping was very nice - my daughter was a bit sick and they came upstairs right clear our room quickly. Overall a very nice hotel to stay with a great location but needs a bit of improvement with cleanliness (cockroaches) and food (juices)

This hotel is exceptional very clean very comfortable located next to the mall easy access to three different malls from this location so many options for food and entertainment in this area. The rooms were largest spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

First time stay at the Ascott thanks to a sponsored event. The staff are very welcoming, from the guards at the parking to the staff at the lounge for pur check in, to the Mesclun resto staff. Very “homey” feels upon entry to our room, classy interior, very clean ( no sneezing for me, since am allergic to dust and weird odor). Esp. Love the sofa and the center square leather table and the accent chair. Bed is comfy and firm , which my back requires. Love the water dispenser, no need to buy extra water bottles. More than enough for our 1 day stay , which i wished we could have stayed more. Breakfast buffet at the Mesclun resto was just enough, the spread is not too overwhelming like in other hotels, that we were able to taste most of the food. Love the bacon and the dutch sausage! Shout out to Mesclun staff SAM who is well-mannered, has that ready smile, and very mindful of our needs, and other guests as well. From bringing our coffee to the ordered eggs which were mistakenly sent to another table (we were seated table 11 outside bec the resto was full that time) , to refilling our water glasses to giving me extra table napkins , even before we requested , he already served. Thanks Sam, continue for doing what you do, with pride and always with zest. All in all our stay was excellent and we hope to come back “home” again at the Ascott.

We celebrated my son's 13th bday at Ascott and it did not disappoint. We booked the 2-bedroom suite so that my son and his friends can spend more time together. They were able to enjoy the pool. They enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They had a great time. The room is spacious enough. Even if we had teenage boys with us, the room didn't feel crowded at all. I appreciate the good size kitchen since I had to feed growing boys. It was also good to have the dryer as I was able to dry their swimsuits after they have used it.

We stayed at Ascott Makati during my birthday weekend!
1. Hotel Staff was nice and accommodating!
2. Check-in and Check-out was fast
3. Good breakfast. I like it that restaurant is near the pool area since we have kids with us that was too excited to go to the pool. We were able to take turns in eating while watching over the kids in the pool.
4. Pool Staff was very kind and was very attentive to wet areas especially since there were a lot of kids walking along the pool side.
5. Pool area is nicely built and I didn't feel that I was near the busy places in the city.
6. We booked a studio room but it felt like we had a 1BR due to the layout of the room.

Ascott Makati is the best choice in terms of location easily accessible for clients and business associates to meet with you, accessible for us in terms of personal needs. The Front Desk Staff are professional and eacomodating particularly PJ who never fails us to looks after our needs. Housekeeping are very responsive to our requirements.. Our housekeeping attendant MARA LACNO patiently attended to our persistent requirements and assisted us in operating some of kitchen eqts in the beginning of our stay The FB staff are very accommodating and attended to my sister 's special food restrictions. First and foremost, warmly greeted by security staff at level 1 upon arrival, which was followed by the assistance rendered by the bellman to assist with your things and luggage.
This leads to the check-in process, handled by Ms Aldy, who is attentive to the information provided and instantaneously provided a room on the 25th floor with a view and amenities that are required by us, travelling in a group of family members for a get together session. She personally deserved my utmost compliment for her professionalism in discharging her duties with great passion in her job profession.
Next, the housekeeping team did a terrific job in ensuring our room was always in neat, tidy, and clean conditions for our comfort stay. Needless to say, whatever we required at the point of time, once the request was made known, no matter how busy they were, they would just do it right. Thank you for such care in ensuring our stay a pleasant and memorable one.
Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen mother nature, the poolside services were unable to be utilised due to safety reasons.
The most outstanding experience is the concern and request for a late check out due to flight time, which was handled with such professionalism and proactiveness by FO Ms Wally (Apology if I get her name wrong) whom is working in the evening shift. This entire experience really enhanced the entire stay, feels like Home away from Home.
There is no words to describe how I felt for those experiences by staying at Ascott, a brand which I trusted most and had never failed to impress me.
These 2 FO staff, as I mentioned, definitely will put their passion at work responsibilities for any guests to bring home fond memories of their stay and shared with their loved ones and even friends.
Thank you all and Ascott Makati team, especially Ms Aldy and Ms Wally (Forgive me if I get your name wrong) for the most wonderful experience, stay from such a demanding guest, of Room 2522/1827.

If you get your parking card stamped at the Bell Captain's station immediately on the left off the elevators on the 6th floor, you won't get charged the parking. We were not informed if there were limits of cars to be parkrd with respect to the number of bedrooms you have. At one time, we had 2 cars in the 3rd basement Ascoo lot and there was no problem when we got our parking card endorsed. The Bell Captain didn't even ask how many cars we have.
