Looks like River Central used to be a backpacker place but now it's just cheap bunk beds. They still have funny rules written in the dormotories, lists of free city walks but nothing of this exists anymore. The dorm wasn't really clean, same as the kitchen on the rooftop but it's still ok to use it for making breakfast. The...

The location is not hard to be accessed because there are a lot of taxis passing through this place, and taxi in the Philippines are very cheap. During my visit here, sang a few songs from their karaoke set and the staff here is very friendly and helpful. You could even ask them to show you around in Manila, and...

This was my go to hostel whenever I flew to Manila, they had free breakfast, loved the beds with that curtain thingy, the wifi was fast enough, the bathroom's pretty decent and the staff are just the best. I've kept in touch with them so I can get a reservation. But during our stay in September, it changed a lot....

I stayed here about 3weeks in total and had an incredible time. I felt like family with the staff and other local boarders and felt comfortable in the locale around the hostel. Pros: great staff and renters, kitchen for DIY cooking, balcony upstairs, space to hang your clothes, beds have curtains for a little privacy, burger machine downstairs (2burgers =...

Beds are good and all. Free use of locker. Staff are attentive. Not really located near the best places. but jeepneys can get you to makati (business and lifestyle area ) at around 20 minutes. Good thing it is only a short walk to guadalupe metro train station. Breakfast included is poor. Dont expect much.

I stayed here for 8 days in December. It was a real budget hostel and I would love to recommend this place to any travellers. I bet you might be disappointed with this hostel IF you have too much expectation for a budget place. So, stop dreaming. The hostel was located at the roadside, just across a caltex station, so...

I stayed here for 7 days at the end of January and I felt so at home. The staff was very kind and helpful and the amenities were always clean. Great value for money and the attractions are within a reasonable distance by jeepney, taxis and train. Definitely a great value for money. Hey Rose :):)
