Nestled in the heart of the city, The Peninsula Manila garners praise for its professional service, with many guests experiencing a touch of personalized care, although a few guests have encountered service hiccups. The hotel's ambience is regularly celebrated for its grandeur and elegance, complete with live music that enchants visitors. While the rooms are generally appreciated for their comfort and space, some mention they could benefit from an update and better soundproofing. The hotel's cleanliness receives accolades, ensuring a pristine stay. However, opinions on value for money are divided among guests.

My first time in the Philippines and this hotel made it wonderful. The staff was always willing to help, answering all my questions. The pool and koi ponds are relaxing. The beautiful items in the stores and the little bakery downstairs. The piano player added to the charm.
My room was very nice, the cold water in the mini fridge was always perfect after a day of tours.
As a solo traveller I highly recommend staying here. From the amazing breakfast buffet to the lovely rooms and the amazing staff. I always felt safe and comfortable here.

Majestic atmosphere, food was a bit lacking though, for vegans. The spa was heavenly. I felt very safe here, extensive and comprehensive security. The staff and concierge were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Filipinos have such great hospitality and friendliness. I am looking forward to come visit again.

From the moment we checked in the hotel and staff were a delight. Our reservation was on hand and the receptionists checked us in efficiently and were polite and attentive throughout the process, answering our questions with ease and providing us with the advice we needed for our stay.
The facilities as you would expect were clean and well maintained, the housekeeping staff made sure the room was always well presented and stocked.
Throughout the stay I made use of the gym and found it to be clean and well equiped. We didn’t get to use the pool this time, but it was clearly well maintained and during my early morning visits to the gym noticed it being cleaned on a daily basis.
During our stay as well as walking across to Greenbelt to enjoy the large variety of restaurants, cafes and bars, we also made use of the dinning facilities at the hotel. Over the period of a week we ate at Escolta, Spices and The Lobby and were never disappointed. The breakfast buffet at Escolta was included in the room price and was delightful way to spend an hour in the morning, the mixture of traditional Philippines dishes and western dishes certainly hit the mark.
In Spices I was happily surprised by the subtle flavours of the Nali Rogan Josh, I had to be stopped by my wife from going back a second night and having it again.
The Lobby was an opportunity to enjoy a mid afternoon snack or drink and just watch the world go by, or as was required on one afternoon catch up on some work.
Overall a great experience which will see us returning next year, the staff were superb, the hotel is splendid and the location perfect.

We had an exceptional experience during our stay at The Peninsula Manila and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Manila in the future. The hotel's convenient location, within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops, made exploring the city a breeze.

Despite the slightly older and smaller rooms, we found them to be incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. Additionally, the hotel offers a range of amenities including various dining options, a refreshing pool, and a spacious fitness center, catering to all our needs during our stay.

One standout aspect of our experience was the exemplary service provided by the concierge, Mr. Matthew Magpantay. He went above and beyond to assist us in securing last-minute dinner reservations for a party of nine on a busy Friday night, demonstrating a level of professionalism and dedication that truly enhanced our stay.

Overall, The Peninsula Manila sets the standard for exceptional service and hospitality. We were thoroughly impressed with our experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends, family, and fellow travelers.

First time came to Manila and stayed in Peninsula Hotel. Extremely high security standard which make me feel safe.
Very traditional luxury hotel lobby with live-band performance on every night. Staffs are all very friendly and nice. They initiative to answer my questions about the surrounding area and provide lots of tourist information to me.
Room is spacious and dustless, although the washing basin was found clogged on the first night, they fixed it immediately after I notify them. Love their chocolates and sweets which set up for my boy. We have Spent a night to eat the buffet dinner, good as other Peninsula Hotel in anywhere, fresh with a lot of variety. Would recommend to everyone who want to visit Manila.

When we decide not to stay Hong Kong for the Lunar Chinese NewYear,
we are thinking a place where are not many tourists guests talking my home language give me feel I’m in holiday,
shopping mall must open for spending a day, we decide to visit Manila because there is a Peninsula hotel there!
We really make a right choice, the hotel is great, you can’t feel any disappointment in all area.
Furthermore, another surprising is the Lunar New Year atmosphere is stronger than HK Peninsula, the rooms is very comfortable
、spacious 、the traditional Peninsula decorate、the room temperature is cool enough to give you a good dream 、the bed so comfortable, we all sleep well than any other hotel recently we have visited during year of 2023.
This history hotel have a very good maintenance anywhere even the public toilet at the busy lobby floor.
Comparing with other top brand hotel dining experiences at the same area, I can definitely say with the high standard trading and management, Peninsula provides the best efficient service and warm hospitality to guests.
If you feel to tired to line up for a cup of coffee at HK Peninsula lobby to enjoy the music band, here , you have same atmospheric in good service .
The restaurants in hotel guarantee provide you good dining experience that you shouldn’t missed.
The hotel provides message service to guests,I must specially name Mr. Ginno, he know I’m first time in Manila, he help to give me good advice of food、place for experiencing the modern local life 、arrange transportation etc to make me feel safe during the stay.
Secondly, Camille ,she is one of the Guest Relationship Manager, she remember how to greet us and introduce some Manila local stories to us.
Last but not last is Leona, she serve breakfast at club lounge, she’s
not only remember my breakfast preference,on the third day, when she know that I feel headache, she prepare some food make me have appetite to eat.
I can’t write all the good experience here, I will use action to proof how great we the family enjoy the stay experience in Manila, is we will definitely come back here for a short break to balance the busy life in Hong Kong.
Before ending this review, I have to thanks the Hotel Manager to keep this historic property and train up such a big good team to keep and brushing the Peninsula Brand.

The Peninsula has never disappointed us hence we picked the Peninsula as our based in Manila while my teenage son and I traveled to other parts of the Philippines. We stayed here twice. I wished I have done this review right after the stay so that my memory is more fresh, but life got busy.

We arrived by flight on a Sunday. And the taxi driver from the airport was completely lost as many streets were closed on Sunday for runners and bikers. I think people say this happens every Sunday so make sure you plan accordingly.

The hotel is classic and luxurious. Christmas decorations were everywhere and it was beautiful. We booked our room through Amex FHR and got all the perks. This is where my memory fades, but we definitely go the room upgrade the first time, but I don't think we got it the first time. Even if we didn't get it the first time, the room was great and classic like the other Peninsulas we stayed in. The Peninsulas have never let us down! The club access was wonderful and my son enjoyed the afternoon tea. The breakfast was wonderful and we got to try a lot of Pilipino dishes. If you have club access and are deciding which breakfast to eat (at the buffet or the upper floor), I would pick the buffet if value selection and the upper floor if you value privacy.

Also with the Amex FHR benefits, a in-room massage is included. The massage was terrific.

Lastly, I want to thank all the staff that was so hospitable and kind. Chino really stood out for me. I apologize I don't remember all of your names, but each one of you from the front desk, restaurants, club access, housekeepers and everyone else. Thank you thank you!

We go here yearly for staycation. It’s the perfect location - malls and a park are walking distance. Our stays have always been great. Buffet at Escolta and high tea at the lobby are always nice. 👍🏼👍🏼 for the dining staff. The kids like the pool esp in the afternoon when they switch on the tree lights.

First time there was a minor hiccup. I always request for a big bed but was given a smaller one. I called the front desk twice but they took longer than expected. Then I got hold of Miguel, the front desk manager. In about 5 minutes a housekeeping was at our door to assist and give us the key to the new room. Miguel also called to check if everything is in order. This kind of service keeps us going back.☺️

I treated my mother to a birthday trip back to our homeland, the Philippines, where we stayed at The Peninsula Manila Hotel. This exquisite hotel is a true treasure, with its rich interior exuding elegance and sophistication, creating a luxurious atmosphere that embraces guests upon arrival. The breakfast spread offered a delightful array of dishes to please every palate, and the hotel's restaurants hosted multiple birthday celebrations with delectable cuisine. The staff provided exceptionally accommodating service, ensuring a memorable stay with their attention to detail. From the luxurious amenities (including pool area & fitness center) to the grand lobby, every aspect of The Peninsula Manila Hotel is designed to offer guests an unparalleled experience. The grand lobby, accompanied by an orchestra playing wonderful melodies, including a special rendition of "Happy Birthday" for my mother, set the stage for an unforgettable stay at this remarkable hotel.

This is already our second stay with the family. And I have to say, Manila Penn is one of our favourites. The accommodations were spacious, and the facilities were well-kept. There is only one issue for us: we become shy when we have to walk across the lobby to the pool.

Anyway, everyone is pleasant and accommodating. We loved the quick hellos with Jett and Reona at the front desk. The guest services and housekeeping provided prompt service in response to our requests. Dustin's pleasant smile from the lobby lounge. And our fave, Escolta! During breakfast, everyone was quite friendly, particularly the chefs, the servers, and Mar.

We just want to say thank you, and we look forward in staying here again.
