This place is a hidden gem. Here I thought Raffles solely existed in Singapore. What a nice surprise to get upgraded from its neighbouring sister hotel where I'd booked the 11th hour and was going to sleep on a folding bed.
The immaculately dressed/groomed staff from go to woe, were courteous, warm, friendly, accommodating and well trained in customer service and communications. They knew my name in less than 24 hours and could answer any queries.
My elderly mother and I were given a guest suite. It was nothing short of magnificent, opulent and luxurious. I initially thought they'd given us the Presidential Suite. It was that nice! There's even an in-house butler. There are artworks adorning the office (yes, it had an office, complete with Británicas) walls and bookshelves, along with interesting books.
The bed is so comfortable, in fact the best I've had in a 5-star hotel. I slept very well. There are curtains that black out the night lights too.
The hotel lobby and walls are like an art gallery. You could spend a morning admiring the unusual works of art or sitting in the lobby while gazing at the dazzling chandelier above.
The Mirèio restaurant served a beautiful breakfast buffet with city views and wasn't crowded. So it was nice and quiet. There are French pastries, sourdough breads, fruit or choose a hot meal from the menu.
The location is perfect and walking distance from Makati's major retailers, from your designer names, to just general shops. Restaurants and convenience stores are a stones throw away.
My stay was one of the most memorable hotel experiences. I highly recommend Raffles Makati.

Raffles is luxury at its finest, an embodiment of exclusivity, elegance, and refinement. The moment we arrived (which was the busiest month of the year – December), we were greeted and welcomed with refinement by their staff. Special thanks to Keycel and her wonderful team from front desk, and Kent and Dennis from concierge. Arriving from Europe after such a long flight, despite being extremely busy, Keycel made our checking in smooth and easy, while the ever friendly and courteous Butler Kent kindly showed us the room and amenities (we booked the Artists Suite aside from the 3-bedroom apartment in Fairmont) which is exquisite! We love the layout, the furniture and fixtures, and the space and light the high ceiling bestowed inside the room). Kent, Dennis and the rest of the Raffles Makati Butlers were always ready to help with anything from recommending the best restaurants in town, booking our spa to calling the external laundry service provider (and fixing small issues in our bathroom).. they did make sure we had a comfortable and stress-free stay every single day (we stayed for a total of 15 days). And last but not the least, the delightful experience we had at Mireio/Mistral, Spectrum, and most especially at Writer’s Bar - all because of Gail and her team. They know exactly what we want and when we want our drinks and food - be it afternoon tea or evening cocktails (which are both divine!). So, am I coming back to Raffles Makati? Absolutely (I miss the staff already!!!)… And hopefully next time it’ll be a much longer stay.

I was extremely fortunate and was upgraded to a Raffles Suite from a Fairmont Suite. The service overall was impeccable. The suite was huge and furnished in colonial style. Refreshments in room in morning then afternoon tea and cocktails at the Writers Bar in the evening. Because I was originally booked at Fairmont I got access to the lounge there as well. Breakfast was a la carte and on the first two days a truly exceptional experience. Although the hotel certainly deserves it's excellent score there are a couple of areas which could do with some consideration. There was a rooftop party adjacent to my room on Saturday night. I was not particularly disturbed because I was heading out however had I wanted an early night the volume would have been problematic . Secondly on Sunday breakfast which I took late the service was substantially impacted by the team preparing for their Sunday brunch. There was disturbance from furniture being moved, staff were distracted and less attentive, and the rather special hash browns had run out and were replaced by a standard article. Kitchen was also slow on the Sunday again I think busy preparing for brunch. They took the utensils away from the fruit and bread buffet 15 minutes before breakfast closed. First world problems I realise but nevertheless a shame given the overall excellent service delivery on the previous mornings. Overall thoroughly enjoyed my stay and it was certainly a delight to experience the Raffles in a new city.

This is the first time I stayed here, but it won't be the last if I have it my way. Stayed for three nights with my wife and her Mom who just flew in from overseas. Maybe there are more flashy hotels with more tech in the rooms etc in Manila, but here at Raffles, you have the chance to have an amazing stay based on hospitality and comfort... not just a reliance on gadgets and decor (although Raffles is well appointed). We were greeted warmly, check in was very quick. Afternoon tea for two is included for the duration, breakfast at either Mireio or Spectrum is provided, fantastic housekeeping and turndown service,. Every member of staff is available to assist. Your stay can be as personalised as you like. Mother in law was very happy. Wife is happy. I'm thrilled! I really want to shout out Mr Denis and Mr Sebastian (Concierge Desk/Butler). Very courteous and welcoming. They allowed my family to spend quality time together peacefully, but thoughtfully added touches to enhance our stay, daily (looked after MIL, provided a Sleep Ritual service of camomile tea, honey, lemon, turmeric nuts etc and set up essential oil and salt for a relaxing bath to unwind (really appreciated as I have back problems, but they weren't actually aware of that issue). I have no need for Butler Service at all, but I am surprised how meaningful it was. I also want to mention Irwin (porter? Concierge?) who was very kind in assisting me and was a very friendly face we saw daily. Housekeeping are very diligent, our room especially the bathroom was very clean. Truthfully I don't like spending money on fancy hotels because I felt it's not important. This hotel is the exception and it surprised me - i feel it was truly money well spent. Big big thank you to Mr Denis, Mr Sebastian and Mr Irwin and the rest of the team for looking after the 3 of us.

Had a great stay at Raffles Makati. The staff, specially our butler (JP) was very accomodating and warm. Hospitality at its finest.
The staff always greets you with a smile.
They are at the same time dedicated to sustainability. Their toothbrus and comb are made of wood. They do not provide plastic bags rather they will give you reusable bags. Very nice hotel!

Our experience at the Makati Raffles / Fairmont has always been exceptional. Very personalized service. Beautiful lobby, nice ambience.
The rooms are well taken cared of. Have found employess to be kind and considerate, willing to help when needed. Housekeepers keep rooms clean and tidy.
Hotel restaurants have great food selections, waiters tend to your needs in a timely manner. Swimming pool and surrounding area is alluring and well kept.
Hotel is located in a great location near businesses and shopping.
A special thank you to Ithiel Perez who was always there to greet us with a smile and always made us feel welcome after a long day out of the hotel.
Mrs.Perez always a professional, very caring and helpful not only to my wife and I but, also to other hotel clients. We appreciate her dedication to her profession.

This hotel is more of a 4 star property and I would say that is it barely hanging onto five star status simply lot of public area refurbishment and the rooms are large spacious or also the staff is extremely friendly restaurant up on the ninth floor servicing the suite of the hotel is actually very good for breakfast and has a nice buffet, which is included with a lot of very hard fun à la carte options. Also bar up on the ninth floor by the pool. The ninth floor is also nice with Service waiting for a lap. I think it’s a great option but to be aware that it is not a typical Asian.

Very superb service from our entrance to check out. Staffs are very welcoming and helpful. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. The room is spacious, clean and sublime. We had our welcome amenity and birthday mini cake and fruits since it’s my son’s birthday. The room has a receiving room and a mini dining area. Bed is so comfortable to sleep at with soft bed linen. The bathroom is my favorite, it has a bath tub with the city view with separate toilet and shower room. Everything is so manicured and detailed like you were in the Raffles Hotel in Singapore. We had our afternoon tea set and cocktail hour which includes on our package. My kids love their pastries and savory goodies served on their afternoon tea set while me and my partner had their unlimited cocktail for 2 hours. Must try is their Singapore Sling. One of my favorite too is their swimming pool. There were only few people like we have it all by ourselves. The water temperature was just right, not cold and they have this heated water kids pool which is so awesome. After we swim we had our dinner at the lobby and the food was superb. They also have a bar located at the 10th floor with a great view of Makati business center. The hotel shares their fitness center and spa with Fairmont. We had a very comfortable sleep. We had a choice for breakfast, its either to have a buffet at Spectrum (shared with Fairmont guests) or Mireio which is an exclusive restaurant of the hotel. We opt for the latter since we have tried Spectrum several times. The Mireio only offers buffet for breads, pastries, fruits and some healthy options and we have to choose one main course from their menu. I had beef tapa which i find it small serving. Its ok because, i got full with their breads. Checking out was so fast and since my son is an Accor member so we feel very priviledge. By the way the hotel is just a few meters away from Greenbelt Mall, Landmark and Glorietta. This is now my new favorite hotel. If you want to splurge and feel like a VIP, then dont think twice to choose here. The place is all by yourself, not crowded, just you and your love ones.

Another excellent weekend stay in our favorite hotel in Manila. We also had a function at Fairmont ballroom which was perfect. Breakfast at Mireio is personalized, fresh, clean with a very attentive service. We appreciated the welcome chocolates and fruits and the Mooncakes on the 2nd day. Special mention to the ladies who checked us in and out and to the entire Team at Raffles. You are truly a 5Star hotel . Raffles is way better than some Forbes 5star hotel in Manila!

5-star luxury stay that was made very personal with the details! Even before our scheduled visit, the butler assigned to us made sure that our visit would be nothing but perfect especially since we’re there to celebrate my Mom’s 80th birthday. It was a planned intimate staycation to bond with her 3 daughters. When we entered our suite, there were 3 other butlers who welcomed my Mom with a song, cake, and a cute birthday banner on the wall! The rest of our stay was truly amazing with the afternoon tea, evening cocktails & breakfast the next day included in our package. One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had with a well-curated spread. This hotel is high on sustainability without compromising comfort and convenience. It was a luxurious experience worth remembering and repeating!

I’m sorry, we did not use the laundry or dry cleaning service but I can tell you that compared to other hotels, everything was reasonably priced, including the mini-bar. With that in mind, I don’t think it would be super expensive. I hope this helps.
Raffles Makati does not have a club lounge. Reservations for our suites come with complimentary breakfast at Mireio or Spectrum, as well as afternoon tea and evening cocktails at the Writers Bar.
There are more places to choose from in the Makati area.
