- The food was good and the rooms were clean. However, our room did not have an external window and the space was small. If we were to stay in Manila again we would likely get a room closer to the tourist attractions to save on the taxi fares. However on the whole the staff were friendly and the room... More

The rooms are not cleaned properly, I found a cockroach, I was disappointed. It is actually a cheap hotel. Even the people were not totally nice, they sounded fake. It was noisy too, difficult to sleep, aircon not working properly

We find this review suspicious. We have no record of this guest staying with us. We have exhaustively researched his credentials and can find no corresponding trace of him in our logs. We ask our readers to regard this review cautiously. In the meantime, we feel that the vast majority of our reviews are a more accurate representation of the... More

The highlights were the staff and the food. The staff were amazing, so friendly and attentive! The restaurant pasta and pizza were fantastic…first three nights in Philippines and we ate Italian it was so good. Recommend the red house wine, not so much the house white. The rooms were basic but adequate and very clean, bed a little hard, daily... More

We have been coming earlier in Durban hotel for a night or 2 for work or flight purposes. This time, our initial plan was to be here 1 night but because immigration constraints (and then unconfortable time) we have been staying 4 nights. Staffs have all been very welcoming, like everytime, and very supportive for a longer and flexible stay... More

It was my firs time stayng at this hotel with my girlfriend as my first time in the Philippines. We didnt have reservation and tried our luck. The staffs are fantastic as everyone was warm and smiling upon our entry at the hotel. We got the cheapest room for couples and it is still very cheap for 1800php. The room... More

My friend and I opted to stay at Hotel Durban after a crazy night last Friday, 24 April. It was the most reasonably priced hotel in Makati! It was just across the last bar we went to so we were lucky enough to know they weren't fully booked. We stayed at the 'most expensive' room but it was not even... More

Many people at the frontdesk (Victor Mendiola, Jewel Mallari, Kaye Arpon) and the front desk manager are rude, insulting and criticizing customers. They discriminate customers and only care about foreigners. very unprofessional service. I never want to meet this people again

While we are saddened to receive a review of this nature, we feel it is important to offer our readers the full story in order to better contextualize the reviewer’s assessment. The day after the reviewer checked in with her nephew, she spoke to our resident manager about how money – about $90 USD – was missing from her room.... More

First, I wanna give 5 star rate to staff who warmly greated us on his "great manly-on-his-english-accent" as he open our taxi door and who carried our luggages straight to our room. (sad that this hotel doesn't have a lift and that makes the hotel staffs work harder when they carry our 25 kilo luggages x 2!) I'll tell ya,... More

Every time I have friends or relatives (here or abroad) who wants to stay here in the Metro for a few days. The first thing that comes to mind is this boutique hotel along Durban Street. The first time my friends (from Japan) and I stayed here back in 2012, we had a memorable time. Proximity wise, it's close to... More

I loved the hotel because so artistic. Overall my experiences during my stayed for 4D3N was good. Location is in Makati, easy access to find some restaurants and bars on the next of this hotel. The staff was good, my room is clean but no window inside. Thanks, Durban!
