Via Agoda I was promised to pay 1.727 pesos for a double room for two nights including a refrigiator in the room. But upon arrival I was told a fridge would cost me extra 200 pesos. I flatly refused and after a long argument the receptionist who were quite rude offered I could keep my medicin in the hotels fridge. I complied but right after I was harrased by an older woman who had her own ideas about that. Now I checked how much money had been subtracted from my bank account just to realize it was 2.800 pesos plus. The receptionist didn't care at all and refused to deal with it. They cheated me moe than 1.100 pesos Checking the room I am really not sure I have gotten a double room. It's small, the bed id quite small too, and the room was dirty when I opened the door. Breakfast was so bad. A cold egg, one piece of very bad ham, rice and a cop of coffee. On the second morning (tomorrow) I won't even bother. Stay away…
my friends and i had errands in cebu city and we needed to stay overnigt. i already had email interaction with the admin saying that there are 3 of us and we want win beds and an extra bed. When we checked in, they strongly suggested 2 bunk beds and i said NO to that. when i said NO, the receptionist looked irritated. She was impolite in conversation and i had to say "good afternoon" first. She does not smile and rolls her eyes which i do not really like. anyway, the rest of the staff were really nice and accommodating. The housekeeping guys were kind and quick to help us with what we need and the lady in the kitchen wad nice. it still was a good experience. i just wish that receptionist will find ways to look at life a positive way and find joy so she can spread joy as well.…
If you ever want a great fantastic place close to most things in cebu and no more than 10 minutes away from Fuentes circle and restaurants and bars . Pacific pension house is what you are looking for and Super Friendly people ( Staff ) and Breakfast ok it is basic but filling and clean very Clean rooms this is where you really should be looking to put your head down on the pillow. Now I am going to say 40 peso for a cup of coffee is a little bit more than it should be 1st cup is Free after that it is 40 peso . And TV and all the available channels Great . Now my wife and I & our kids are over on another island away from Cebu but we don't hesitate going to Pacific pension house and Rates are great as well.. Yep without a doubt in my mind. This is a great place to stay when in Cebu …
Worst! Front desk staffs doesn’t know how to communicate with each other what to endorse with other staffs in the hotel. Upon checking in we told them if they can prepare our complimentary breakfast for the next day early as we will leave early and they said yes however when we are getting it the next day there’s isn’t at all which is very very disappointing already! Secondly, extra bed in one of our rooms should have been free according to the agency but upon checking out we have to pay for it and they don’t want to communicate with the agency for which these people in the front desk should be the one doing it for us, very very poor customer service! Lastly, complimentary breakfast is not included for kids below 9 years old and needs to pay!!! Wow!!! Really thats kids we are talking about they should take care more for them!!! And we are trying to compensate the breakfast we didn’t get from the first day so the kids can be free and they are telling us NO since its complimentary and its not paid but for its for the kids and just trying to compensate what we didn’t get the first day! How can a hotel run like this without any CUSTOMER SERVICE at all!!! Such a poor experience!!!…
My family and I spent three nights in two rooms at this hotel recently. It was not a nice experience. There were many things wrong with this place but the most aggravating was their refusal to provide breakfast for our children. They said they would not let our children eat breakfast because we were not being charged for them! The rooms are very small with windows that face another building. I do not want to go on about this place, just skip it when looking for a hotel in Cebu City
Things have improved since my last visit. Notably the inclusion of a "Free Breakfast" which was not available last year. The breakfast consists of cup of rice + egg + choice of Longalisa, Corned Beef, Hot dog, toscino (when available), choriso sausage + hot coffee. Very pleased again with service, wifi has improved, tv was re-tuned in by staff in room following update of signal from provider. Very popular hotel, with filipino and foreigner guests.
I have been staying in this pension house 3 times and last August 2019, I was really disappointed with one of the staff which I dont want to mention here. When I arrived, I asked one of the staff to set up the wifi for me since I was tired that day and since it was a bit complicated to log in for me, I opened my phone (i normally have it locked) and he went downstairs in the reception for my password. He went through my Facebook account and added his name as my friend. That was unacceptable since I have been very good to them. Apart from him, everyone is nice and I love the area and the place.
We would like to thank them for accommodating our guests. Overall, it was okay. our clients were there ahead of time for an early check in but it was still too early and their standard check in time is 2pm. they let them leave their things first at the luggage room. and i guess that was a good one
I'm not a luxury traveler, but I want to be comfortable since I need a good sleep after a long day of tour. I booked for a premier room, I was totally displeased when I enter the room. The bed is wrap with a muslin cloth, floor is wet, no towels , plus the big post inside the room. The aircon is covered with the curtain. Plus the unpleasant ambiance because of the frowning faces of the receptionist. I was booked for three nights but I left. Maybe a waste of money to find another place but I can't stay in a claustrophobic with negative ambiance place. Will never recommend this place to anyone unless you want a headache.
One thing that I like on this budget hotel is it is near on almost every establishment you need. The location of this hotel is near Osmenia Circle, where you can dine in on fast foods and restaurants, a mall and a pasalubong center where you can buy delicacies for your friends and love ones and on top of that, there's a 24/7 convenience store just around the corner! The hotel is also not that far from the airport for around 30mins-1hour grab/taxi travel time (depends on traffic). The room is spacious, average comfort room, cold airconditioning, a cable television and a great wifi connection and they also have free breakfast.
