Despite being a small hotel, the rooms were clean and comfortable, adequate for the price you pay.

Toilet has hot and cold with bidet. location is perfect with close proximity to coffeeshop, atm and bank, hospital and massage center. if you craving for grilled foods, there are 2 restaurant next to the hotel.

Convenient store like 7 eleven is close by, its near to Capitol Hall. Around 20 minutes to Ayala Center Mall if no heavy traffic.

Good place for overnighting in the city. Very good food in the restaurant, friendly staff, adequate room facilities. Unfortunately air conditioning not brilliant In our room which gave us a couple of sweaty nights.

I spent eight days here. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere. The views aren't much to speak of, and the surrounding neighborhood is a bit sketchy.
However, the accommodations are nice for the price, the food was very good. I liked that they had a local menu and a western menu. I ate mostly from the local menu. The breakfasts were exceptional.
With that said, I'd stay here again.
On the downside, my room phone never worked, my shower broke, and I had ants in my room. I was told if I tipped the staff I could get an upgrade, or things fixed quickly. I left a huge tip and asked for everything to be fixed, or my room upgraded. Only the shower was repaired.
Again, it's a decent hotel. I suggest bringing extra towels, extra toilet tissue, and extra washcloths. It's hard to get those items from the staff. Also, they don't flush their toilet tissue there. It goes into the garbage can. I always flushed mine, but the trash can in the bathroom stunk from people throwing toilet tissue in it for probably several years.
There is a 7-11 around the corner which was a lifesaver for getting, coffee, snacks, toiletries, beer, food, etc.

The hotel was excellent, with very friendly, helpful staff. It was clean, comfortable and well located. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast each day which offered a range of foods. A water cooler was located outside rooms for refilling bottles as needed.

The room is small and the breakfast included is only an extra.

It claims to be a hotel, but it is an extended level of Pension House. Most of the guests are long-term Europeans with their companions, and the atmosphere is awful. It's less than a thousand yen and I'd still feel better staying on the Red Planet.

The staff were friendly and polite, rooms were tidy except the AC was not exhausting sufficient air (cool) it was so hot for the two nights we stayed at the hotel. Hoping they will be able to fix their ACs (maintenance). Near to restaurants and stores (7/11).

I stayed in Cebu R for a week and I had a very comfortable and pleasurable stay.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly reception staff, and checking in was a breeze. Communication with the hotel has been very prompt even with the time zone between Canada-Philippines. Breakfast was included in my room , with a variety of Asian, Western, Continental and Ala Carte. Everyday I would try a different breakfast.

The hotel is very clean and staff at Cebu R are very attentive to your needs, this goes to all services..... reception ( 24 hours), dining area (6am- 10pm), housekeeping and the security guards ( 24 hours) The room has a minibar which is a plus, a safe, a comfortable bed and selections of the Satellite TV guide is ample in most languages and the best part is the WiFi is fast. Had everything I needed in the hotel room.

Cebu R Capitol Site is conveniently located for public transportations to The Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu, The Cathedral, Magellan's Cross and Fort San Pedro. It is close to restaurants and supermarkets.

I certainly recommend Cebu R Capitol Site. Kudos to all staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Should be ZERO of 5. A computer error caused me to have 2 unrefundable reservations. I suggested several reasonable alternatives to reselling the overbooked room to avoid being charged twice but some communist management mindset insisted on hell no. I deserve extreme punishment for a computer error. There are many hotel options in Cebu. Pick another!

We stayed for only one night and it exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and spotless, there were many places keep our things (clothes hangers, shelf, desk, table, bedside tables). Bed was comfy and the bathroom was big and convenient (good water pressure, dry floor). Wifi worked well.
Nice breakfast, free water refills, reasonable prices at the restaurant, and very good brewed coffee.
The only downside: no universal power sockets, so you will need an adapter unless you’re coming from America.
Beware the trip to the airport may take more than an hour because of the traffic.

No, its located between Ayala center and SM City mall. Taxi to Gen Max is aprox 2USD, 10 minute ride. Be aware that most nightlife in Gen Max Fuente area, is now closed down permanently. Only bikini bars left. For hotels near your required area, use google maps and search fuente circle

No hidden fees when booking using agoda, if your settings is updated. Public taxi always available 24/7 and safe. White standard taxi 5 Usd to most hotels in City center. Yellow airport taxi, newer cars, 8-10 Usd. Hotel pick up mostly cost twice the price of taxi, and many times then don't come. Take a taxi. Regards Cebu expat.
