Despite the limitations imposed by the pandemic, we found the food and staff service to be first rate. Time and time again, every time I gaze at the structure of this hotel from the City's thoroughfare, it reminded me of the famous Disneyland Castle and it made me smile by having those magical memories played on my mind. Like a beautiful Disney Princess living in her castle, I'm deeply grateful to Managers on Duty, David Zerna and Mae Rias together with Front Desk Officer Audrey for the royal-like service and treatment fit for a Queen and her court the moment we checked in. It feels like I was enthroned in my Queenship when Audrey revealed the surprised good news that my Standard Room reservations was upgraded to the Ambassador Suite Room (P15,000.00/night on a regular standard rate basis) at the Ambassador Floor (highest level at the18th floor) with an instant access to The Waterfront Ambassador Club (closed at the moment due to pandemic). It has two queen size beds, living area, dining area, office space, shower room, bathtub, 2 LED Cable TV and 2 toilets. As a Film Ambassador 2017 Awardee of the Film Development Council of the Philippines, this is meant for me! My sister Irene complete with her 7 children's together with their partners and her 2 grandchildren was given 4 Ambassador Rooms with bathtub (P12,000.00/night on a regular standard rate) at the Ambassador Floor. She has her King size bed plus an extra bed added in her room for the twins. My deepest gratitude to Manager David Zerna. This is the most luxurious and biggest hotel room that I've ever checked-in here in Cebu City. For the record, it's my first time to soak myself in a warm bathtub here in Cebu. We had so much fun in the crystal clear water of the large outdoor swimming pool, Pool Aquarius, located in the lower lobby under the moon and the stars. Air conditioning was a problem which made us move rooms several times. Placement of curtains in the shower was not well thought of because water would still soak the bathroom floor even if the curtain was properly closed. I would call room service or housekeeping and even operator several times and they wouldnt pick up.
Food was very good and we will always come back for that. The managaer was very generous to upgrade our room since the aircon was not functioning well. But, the pool attendant was kinda rude and some food servers are kinda unattentive. But overall it was very good.
Any business or establishments defined on their excellent customer service. Customers are loyal because the best experienced they received, and I am one of those customers. The values and the frontline team members made the Waterfront the best place to stay in Cebu.
