Over the past month I have stayed at this hotel four different times. Sometimes as many as 4 nights in a row. Each visit has been a pleasant experience. The location is centrally located and close to all the nightlife. The hotel is easy to find. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. the hotel is very clean, updated and quick to assist. The price is the best you will find in the area for the quality you get.

Unfortunately, the internet is more a miss then a hit. Constantly needs work and they are promising to have it fixed each time. Since I was there so many times in a month, It make me believe that the owner has no interest of investing in better equipment and is only putting a bandage on a major problem.

I get frustrated but still seem to go back as the location, staff, quality and price makes up for the super inconvenience of non reliable internet.

If this article is helpful to you then please, give me a thumbs up :)

Security!! I had a digital camera stolen from my bag. Of course everybody denied taking it & Management was very apologetic, but the fact remained there is dishonest staff employed at this hotel. That in it self would stop me from staying at this hotel in the future. Management should adopt a zero policy regarding theft & maybe instigate a rule where all cleaning/ground staff staff are put on a watch list if a theft from a guest is reported. Reception staff are friendly & courteous & all speak excellent English & I would exclude them regarding my theft. A good budget hotel let down by some unscrupulous staff!

They didn't provide towels, soap, shampoo or tissue. We had to request for them several times. The bedsheet had some dirt on it and was a bit unkempt. The towel rack and holder of the shower phone were broken. There is hot/cold shower. The aircon worked well. There is cable TV. No WiFi in the room, only at the lobby and restaurant. There is a complimentary breakfast of bread, butter and coffee. They have silog meals for only 90.

I regret to share that my stay at this budget-friendly hotel was disappointing. Upon arrival, my room had mold on the bathroom ceiling, affecting both the room's scent and my breathing. Despite notifying the receptionist, it took two days to be relocated to a better room, significantly improving my experience. Unfortunately, I noticed staff members speaking about my request behind my back, leading to noticeable changes in their attitudes each time I interacted with them. Room service was also inconsistent, not attending to my needs for three consecutive days. On a positive note, the hotel offers a decent breakfast from 6 am to 10 am, and its proximity to three malls and various bars is convenient. The new room was an improvement, but I discovered I had been without a blanket for two days, a lapse perhaps due to miscommunication with housekeeping. While the price was attractive, these experiences contribute to my three-star rating instead of two. I'm thankful for the larger room, which I presume was offered due to limited alternatives.

After a few years I came back to this great hotel. For the price it's perfect with good wifi, clean room, good bathroom, comfy bed and really nice staff. The location is great too. Breakfast is quite nice but basic. I will stay here again next time I'm in Cebu.

Travelbee Business Inn is a good location for those looking for reasonable rates, clean room, good air con and quiet with helpful staff.

We have stayed at this location three time while visiting in Cebu City and have never been disappointed.

The main negatives is the lack of a good wi-fi signal; you have to go to the lobby.

Very affordable
Convenient - walking distance from Mango Avenue
Friendly staff

We arrived 11pm in the hotel but the staffs are readily available and still very much awake.
Only problem was, when we searched for the the place in Google maps/waze, we were directed to the Capitol Inn branch. Please update the map :)

The room rates are very affordable for the type of accommodation they are offering. The room is tidy and spacious enough for two people. P980 for a twin room is definitely a good deal. It is located just beside of Sacred Heart. Nice and friendly staff.

I checked in super late around 1am as a walk-in. I was offered a deluxe room 208 since all lower categories rooms were booked out. To my surprise, room had no telephone, no towels and soap, tv was defective, foul smell, etc.

Since I was exhausted and tipsy, I didn’t want to raise my issues as all I wanted was to rest. In the morning, I informed the receptionist about the room condition which she acknowledged it. She knew about this room. Why are they selling this room on the first place?

No single word of apology or anything.

This is a newer construction budget hotel. It's very basic - a good clean place to sleep but minimal amenities.

The staff is very kind and helpful

They do provide a very minimum breakfast service - one piece of toast and butter and a cup of instant coffee. You can also order an egg breakfast for P90. Seating area of the canteen is good and it's quite a nice little perk for this price point.

Just keep in mind that it is minimal. The shower uses one of those heating units, but does the job. No shampoo or tooth brushes, but bar soap is provided.

Only cons were that there were some small roaches and the residence next door had chickens that would wake you up at the crack of dawn.

Overall, very happy with the Travelbee and for P880 (including all fees) for a standard room it's a real good deal.

I cannot guarantee that they have services like that. Maybe, you can ask for assistance and inquiries at the information desk. The personnel are all polite and quick to help customers.
