Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Cons: inflexible, interested only in money not in tourists' best interest. If you book from their website you get higher price than the one on booking.com (aprox 15% more). And if you show them that, they try to convince you that you are wrong. Rude receptionist. The guard man is smoking continuously and all smoke enters the apartment. The sofa is extremely unconfortable. I do not recommend the location, there are other much better options in Cluj.

We stayed at UBA for 3 days in February 2020. The rooms are nice, modern and clean. The location is a little (2 km) out of the city center. Breakfast was not worth much, but we got some food to start the day. :-)

I found a home in this difficult times. Really nice appartement, super clean, well maintained. Just to highlight the support,help and guidance of the ladies in management. No better place for a longterm stay in Cluj. 4 months of super exeperience. Thank you so much! Frank

Omg ! Where do I start ? Morning breakfast : we got to the breakfast room where a group of cleaning ladies were feasting on what was suppose to be the guests breakfast buffet so we got no bread left and the lady in charge said this is what it is no more bread . Then she went on her phone telling the other person how unhappy she was with her job and thinking about quitting while completely ignoring us. I did not wanted her negativity and asked if I can take my coffee to go in my room . She said no . Then the rooms had no air conditioning except 1 where you will freeze to keep the whole apartment cold . Towels were dirty ,tub was dirty ,ash-tree was dirty and with cigarette buds in ( we don’t smoke ) and apartment smelled like smoking was done in there . Beds mattress were poor cheap quality and could not sleep well .in-the bathroom they don’t have anything but hand soap, no shampoo no conditioner, no tissues . I do not recommend it ! Stay away !

The apartments are big. Bathrooms are big and clean. The receptionists were very helpful (even though we arrived at 1 AM). The area is very close to the main street, while the parking is really good. They have some outside or underground parking places.

We stayed here for one night, all in all everything was nice but I have 2 observations: if you leave the window open during the night time it is very noisy because of the cars driving on the main street, and there is no shampoo or shower gel in the shower, only hand soup.

Recommend this aparthotel! very modern design, clean, more than enough breakfast. as well as underground parking very ok. very good price ratio. the only negative thing would be poor insulation if you take the room to Calea Turzii to hear the outside traffic! ask for a room looking back to the garden! All the best!

The hotel is very nicely decorated,super interesting different designs in every apartment.The space is generous,the appliances are all new and functional. Unfortunately though, I can’t give this hotel more than 3 stars.There is 0 noise insulation for the rooms facing Calea Turzii,a very busy street with significant traffic throughout the night.Ask for an apartment on the other side if you want to get any sleep ever.The cleanliness was poor,dirty floors and towels from the previous guests in the bathroom,thrown in one of the drawers.Some of the staff members are rather unprofessional,others are just decent.The breakfast technically starts at 8-probably there were more people complaining about this as we were able to go earlier every day,at 7:30.For business travelers even so it might be too late...The reason is probably restaurant rules,as breakfast is at restaurant Rod across the street.As it should’ve started later I guess,the food was never all ready,there were always items missing-on our last day we barely found anything to start our day with.The coffee and the barista were really nice though.All in all,there are much better hotels in the city,keep this one in the back of your mind if all 4 star hotels are booked.

If you’re in cluj for a night or for for more it’s perfect. You have all the commodities for a family of 4. All is clean and tidy. It’s quiet and easy to find and only 20 min from city center You have cable and free wi fi, towels, dishwasher machine and so on. I highly recommend this place

I negotiated with them to reserve 30 rooms for some date, we come to an agreement on the price an everything but they postponed contract signing and then after a two months after repetitively asking them to sign the contract they told me that they can only book 10 rooms !!!
