The good: excellent quiet location,2 min walk from Iulius Business center + mall with everything you need,room with lake view + Iulius park; good breakfast in a nice restaurant, although replenished very slowly; good sized room for a 3 star hotel.
The bad: uncomfortable beds - you can feel every spring in the mattress; paper thin walls between the rooms - you can hear all conversations had next door; no proper access in front for someone with disabilities and/or heavy luggage.
The ugly: most staff blase, unmanned by management and looking as if they are forced to be there or the complete opposite, like they are in their spare time only chattering and sitting around; wireless not working at all - the signal was too weak in my room (second floor).

Renovated hotel right next to the shopping mall, friendly staff, clean and modern, only negative issue was the breakfast.

Wi-Fi works well in the room, very clean feel, spacious room, newly renovated bathroom (what seems like)...best part is its next to the river which makes for great pictures and a morning walk..worder how nice it will be during the summer...

The hotel is situated by an attractive lake and next to a large,well kept shopping mall. It's central yet quiet. Rooms are modern and immaculately clean. There's a large double shower and complimentary shower gel, shower caps and soap. The bed was comfortable and the room was very warm although the window could be fully opened for ventilation. Breakfast consisted of hot and cold items with plenty of choice. Everything was really positive, although tea/coffee making facilities in the room would've been nice. The view over the lake was lovely to wake up to.

Rather lousy hotel. Built in the post communist construction boom it is wonky and poorly maintained. The AC barely worked making staying at the hotel during a heat wave very unpleasant. Room was also dirty. Breakfast was basic, a throw back to a bygone age. Only saving grace was location, close to meeting venue (FSEGA), mall with shops and restaurants, and lane for walking. Staff varied from disinterested to helpful.

Stayed 1 night on 5/6/24. Spacious family room w/ a decent size shower BUT: no AC working while there were 25 degrees C during the day; NO hot water and a very weak stream of lukewarm water from the shower. Front desk lady just shrugged her shoulders on my complaining

Been there about a month ago......i consider this the worst restaurant they have in Cluj. First of all we waited for about half an hour for our meal to arrive considering that initially we waited for about 20 minute for a waiter to take our order. For vegetarians....their menu is almost empty (they have about 4-5 option for main course anyway...in total). The food was trash, no taste, old potato were served with a strange taste of very very old oil. The lady who took our order forgot to bring beer....3 time in the row. We asked her in advance for drink knowing that she will be late.....and she came late again ...in about 15 minutes.
And all this considering that we went there at 15:00 and there was only another table busy...no one on the terrace except us and another girl on a different table.......later we have seen that she was some kind of superviser because she told to the waiters that they have to move faster to serv at our table, this only when she heard us talking if we should consider to go for another restaurant or to wait for our order.
The terrace was dirty, tables as well and the forks and spoons were unclean as well. The only nice thing about this restaurant is the position, close to the lake.....but still there are another few restaurants in the area.....so 0 points for this restaurant.

We needed to catch a 6:15 flight to Bucharest the next day. We were provided with a meal that we made into breakfast and lunch there was so much food. The room was very nice, clean, and had a balcony overlooking the lake. Our wake up call was on time and the taxi was called and arrived within minutes.

Very nice hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was good. If you like to open your windows don't get a room facing the parking lot because of all the late night guest who are talking loudly as they go to their cars.
