British guests take note, there is no kettle in this hotel, although this seemed to be standard for Romania.
I would have no issues staying here again.
The carpeting is worn and old, the mattress are all broken with springs hurting your back... And we changed 2 rooms for that reason, and no difference.
In the second room we changed the bathroom was stinking like trash every time I would turn on the fan.
This is the worst experience I have ever had.
the bed its old and its very bad for sleeeepp, the bathroom was dry.dirty walls.
bad choice at all,don t go there you can find better place, this is a old communist hotel..
Downtown location is most comvenient. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Rooms are decent size, baths are clean, if out of date. Plenty of hot water, shower does not leak onto the floor, everything works. Carpeting looks dirty, walls need washing and repainting. Beds are the worst I have ever slept in. You can feel the mattress springs all night long. If the carpeting was not dirty I would have slept on the floor.
Breakfast was adequate, unimpressive. The Victoria would be OK for a short stay if they installed new mattresses. In it's present condition I would not choose stay there again.
You can sleep well and you are close to the old and the new city...
churches and historical monuments and pubs and concerts.. restaurants and terraces for leisure time
- An old communist hotel, very bad bed mattres, the springs felt througt the mattress.
