Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Located in the center of the city has easy acces to restaurants nearby and places to visit ( the Palace of culture, the little and big cathedral, the medieval fortress and so on). Due to the Covid measures some of the features advertised on the website are not available. A plus of the hotel is the parking spot, free of charge which you have on the backyard, access from the street nearby through a gate across the court law. The restaurant is closed but you can eat in the patio or in the room, the choise is up to the guest regarding the breakfast- 5 options available to choose. A big plus is the customer care service at the front desk, the employees were very helpful to make a vegetarian option of the breakfast. At the front desk also available coffee and tea. The rooms are different and you cand choose which one you want. Some of them have some issues with air conditioning but solved with a room changed.

The best included breakfast anywhere, possibly. I was there with TeamUSA for the Multisport World Championships. TeamFrance and Team Spain stayed there as well. Those who arrived earlier kept talking about how amazing the breakfast was and I had to agree, especially if you like meats and cheeses. The rooms were smaller than most in the US but very modern. It reminded me of A-Loft Hotels. It’s within steps of several sidewalk bistros and nice restaurants, along with a grocery market. It’s also a five minute walk from Tekeli Library, which houses a rare early copy of the US Declaration of Independence along with several other rare works. The staff was very helpful and friendly and spoke very good English. The area itself felt very safe even when walking at night.

I stayed here to take part in a sports event in June 2022.
Plaza V is well-located in the middle of Targu Mures and not far from the very photogenic castle.
Hotel is modern, clean and air-conditioned. Decor in the room was unusual and not necessarily to everyone’s taste but the room was very comfortable and the shower and bathroom facilities excellent.
I ate twice in the restaurant where the food was good and fairly priced.
The gym is compact but sufficiently equipped for cardio and basic strength and conditioning.
I had a lot of help from the reception, and the hotel was good about letting me leave a bike with them during the day ahead of my departure. They also helped me with onward travel arrangements.
Speaking to other competitors staying elsewhere, this was amongst the best hotels in Targu Mures.

Wonderful experience, the room, breakfast, staff, you name it. They even have a courtyard parking. Left two personal items by mistake in the room. One call and the next day the package was delivered!!

In centre of targa mures. Friendly ladies at the reception. Stylish rooms. Not very big but very comfortable except for the airconditioning which was not working and it was hot in the room. Breakfast basic but enough. They have parking in a field behind the hotel

First stay at the “Plaza V” hotel and first trip to Targu Mures in general. The hotel is well positioned near fine restaurants and attractions. Rooms are clean and comfortable...well insulated from noise despite the proximity to the main boulevard. Full gym (open 24 hours) and spa top off this well equipped property. What really sets it apart: amazing service! A very professional and nice front desk staff and bellman made parking and check in easy. I also received fantastic advice about the local area and restaurants...in English and Romanian! I doubt there is a hotel in the local area with a staff as well trained as the Plaza V. When I return to Targu Mures, I can only imagine a return stay to this fantastic property!

We arrived at 1 am and the cheerful receptionist said « we were expecting you ». Check-in was quick and we were able to select a room on a TV screen. A bellboy also asked us if we needed help with our luggage. The room was not very big but more than adequate for the price paid. We had a flat-screen TV, slippers, etc. and the bathroom was very modern. Breakfast was quite lavish (more than we were expecting). There was no one to seat us in the busy breakfast/restaurant room and some tables that were free had not been cleaned. The hotel is centrally located and easily reached by shuttle bus from TGM airport. The city is a convenient transit point to reach Sighisoara (about 45 minutes away by car). The hotel has opted for a modern décor, which gives it a bit of a cold feeling but I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel is very good located, in the city center, in the beautifully called Rose Market, and offerers a superb view over the city and the old buildings, built in baroque, neoclassical or art nouveau style. The Rose Market is famous for the roses that adorn the market for decades. Here are the main architectural symbols, as well as clothing stores, jewelery stores, cafes and restaurants. The hotel has a futuristic design, is very clean and cozy, the staff is also very kind. The restaurant offers very tasty dishes and the breakfast is impeccable, with quality, varied and deliciously prepared products! Unfortunately, I did not have time to relax in the spa area, but the services offered here sounds very promising! Next time, I will certenly not miss the experience!

I stayed in Targu Mures for a week at Privo hotel which is a dream in every way. Forced to prolong my stay and not having any availability there I decided to give Plaza a try. I arrived at the front desk and the lady asked me right away to pay in advance for my room. I explained to her that it is a business trip and I have to sort out with my company who was going to pay for the room and will get back to her. She said I have to sort this out quickly and to pay in the next hour. I felt like a criminal :)). Then I arrived to my room and had to work and the internet connection was horrible. I called the reception desk to complain about this aspect and the lady, Elena, said it is a problem in the whole city and it has been for a week. I told her i was here all week and at the previous hotel I had no such problem. Then she replied that I was the only guest complaining about this. When I told her that is not an answer she said she is sorry but she can't help me. The overall feeling of the hotel is outdated, with very small windows, no proper wardrobe to store the clothes. Very uncomfortable pillows. Sockets placed behind heavy night stands. Hard to get to. Really good position in the city. Overall I wouldn't recommend it.

This is the hotel I book each time I travel to Tg. Mures. It is located in the very centre of the city. Sometimes the traffic gets annoying, that is why I prefer the rooms with view to the back, so I can sleep well. Modern rooms, in black, white and grey. Air conditioning, room safe box, cAble TV, fully equipped minibar, free internet access, bathrobe, slippers, hair-dryer, pretty much everything one might need. I appreciate the complimentary bottle of 0,5 l of water. The staff is helpful and friendly. They helped me get rid of the mosquitos - there were quite a few in the room. They gave me something to plug in and it was ok. Free parking. I always find a place to park my car in front of the hotel. Very good breakfast. I know the hotel has a SPA but I haven't tried it. So I can't comment on that.
