I visit Timisoara once a year. On my last five visits I've stayed at Casa Leone. Upon entering the grounds you find yourself in a small garden setting with a small cafe style group of tables and chairs for relaxing and chatting. The rooms aren't big but are very comfortable To my pleasant surprise, the rooms are nice and warm...

Owners are very kind and helpful, and speak many languages. Rooms are nice, wide and clean. A good breakfast is included and served in the patio under the trees shadow and a parrot by side. City center is fifteen minutes away on foot, or 2 euros (less than 10 lei) by taxi.

Small guesthouse with a small inside garden, family run business Friendly and polite staff Quiet location, a little bit far from the center, but you can take a taxi which is cheap (max 10 Ron/2,5 Euro). Near the guesthouse there are only houses, if you need water or a sandwich, there is a gas station opposite it Cosy rooms, good...

A 4 nights accommodation for a medical conference. Nice hotel, cosy athmosphere, very helpful staff. Good and quiet location, near the city center, but the parking place too small. We had to place our car on the other side of the street, and ... surprise ... next morning we found only 3 wheel caps! The rooms are very clean, we...

On an yearly basis I visit Timisoara. This was a new choice and I don't regret it at all! The Hotel/villa is not large but it offers you everything you need; the staff if friendly and they can easily chat with you on 5-6 different languages. The rooms were nice, mine was a bit tiny but with a very warm...

I ended up staying at Casa Leone after accommodation provided by a conference ended up being not very nice and I'm so glad I moved. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and quite relaxing with lovely gardens. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you ever go to Timisoara.

I visited Casa Leone several times, even had events organized there. I loved the old flavour with innovative and modern services, nicely combined with a positive and proactive attitude. A large number of languages spoken (six, if I remember correctly), instant solutions to everything, dynamic and creative people. Impossible to forget, easy to remember, will definitely be back.

This is an excellent guest house run by a mother and daughter, who are very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts served in attractive garden. Clean, pleasant, quiet rooms. Excellent value for money. Location is a walk from the city centre, however, taxis are very cheap. Transfer can be arranged from the airport. Strongly recommended budget accommodation.

A great place to stay. A two-storey facility converted into a family bed&breakfast, with all the vegetation kept as it must have been for decades. You're only 20 minutes from the city center, and even though it's on a busy street, none of it gets to you. The owners are really hospitable and will help with any issue you might...

“Some rooms are quieter than others. If this is important, ask specifically for such room. Most rooms are upstairs, may be important for some guests.”

“The bath tub is a bit slippery - I almost fell. I would recommend a room with a balcony so you can have more air in the room. I would as well recommend to let your host know in advance what type of breakfast you want as they can adapt easily to you choice.”
