If you are looking for a quaint hotel in Moscow within walking distance of virtually all the places a tourist would be interested in seeing, this is the hotel for you. This small hotel is 15 minutes from Red Square and all that it contains....More
The rooms are good, not great. The same could be said for the breakfasts. We booked the least expensive, room, and it was a mistake. No windows, just a skylight. We were able to upgrade, and at no extra charge! Besides an easy walk to...More
Location was quite good, some 5 - 10 min walk to red square. Hotel itself looks too much communist style.... In a bad way. Staff was friendly. Room ok. Breakfast not so good but there's a coffee shop opposite the street (patrushka or something...) which...More
This is a small modern hotel in walking distances to many of Moscow's main attractions. It is on a relatively quiet street(if you face the side street) for central Moscow(except for snow removal equipment!). The rooms are comfortable. Everything works well and is very clean....More
The location is the real winner here, especially if you are on the tourist trail. Walking distance from everywhere you need to be.

Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or
Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.

We booked on line with Angel-taxi Moscow. They were excellent. English speaking drivers, you get a text message with the drivers name and car details and contact numbers if there is a problem. They also do tours of the city and various museums if you are interested. Regular Russian taxi drivers don\t speak English. Metro is very good for getting around the city and very cheap, but would not recommend it with luggage. Hope this helps.
