I have spent 3 days there. It is a great location, next to Kremlin, very convenient to Metro. Breakfast is OK & breakfast area is very small – may be 5 little tables. Hotel staff is friendly and have reasonable command of English. My rooms were on the second floor and so were good. My colleagues had rooms on the...

We liked this hotel so much during our 1st short visit to Moscow, that we decided to stay again on our 2nd visit. Very nice rooms, attention to detail and clean. Staff friendly. Best to order breakfast to room since limited seating in the foyer area. Fantastic location ... 10 minutes walk to Kremlin, Red Sqaure and metro station. Given...

I was very pleased to have selected this small Russian hotel rather than one of the modern American chain hotels that line the nearby Tverskaya. The downside was that the room wasn't very large and that I had a single bed, but the excellent location and service, not to mention the lower price, more than made up for that. I...

Stayed there for only 1 night on February. Awesome location, just 5 min away from the red Square. The rooms are very nice. It also has a good price, if you take into consideration the outraging prices of Moscow. The breakfast is not that good, but a part from that it is a very nice hotel!!

We were booked into the hotel by a tour company and we were most pleased. Then location was perfect for our needs. You could see the walls of Red Square (About three blocks away) from the hotel entrance and we were able to walk to the Bolshoi Ballet at a leisurely pace in 20 minutes. You can catch the beautiful...

Very helpful and friendly staff. A comfortable, silence and clean room, good breakfast and the best location in Moscow. You can walk to all main attractions. Good value for money in an expensive city.

Great hotel in excellent location, very good breakfast either in your room or the lobby. Didn't have a problem getting a table in the small lobby. Very helpful and friendly staff....tea & coffee delivered to the room from the bar. Comfortable, good size room. Walking distance to the Kremlin etc and lots of cafes/restaurants nearby. Have already recommended this hotel...

Close to lots of eating places and Red Square. Average rooms and bath with plenty of space. Our room faces the street and has some noise. Our friend in on the 6th floor with no windows and only a skylight. Take the slight street noise that goes to zero in the late night - it is not a problem. They...

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
