Perfect hospitality, amazing service. You'll love there! If you want a cheap but super place, this is the hostel. Rooms are clean, services are good and staff is very kind. Also you can just walk to all important points like Red Square etc.

Chocolate hostel is a nice place where to stay in Moscow, not so far from there to red square. The staff was very helpful and gave me some advices for good restaurants near the hostel and booked for me a free walking tour in Moscow. I highly recommend this hostel!

Just outside the cityring and it's a bit hard to fins but the beds in the back are good, bathrooms are clean and common room is small but nice. The best host (Ina) ever and honest people there because I forgot my selfie-stick in the hostel and they sent it to me after a couple of months.

I stayed in the dorm for 2 nights. It was cramped but they did have lockers which was really good and gave you towels. the dorm was pretty smelly and the lady on reception who greeted us maybe was new because she did not remember to tell us a lot of things.

I booked this hostel before 2 hours my departure time, it's really in a hurry and fortunately there's vacancy. This place is not difficult to find but it is not really close to the station, about 10 minutes walk. The place is clean and with kitchen and nice bathroom with hot water, bed is clean and comfortable enough, the whole...

This is not a cutesy hostel, it is very cheap, clean enough, especially the shower, which never ran out of hot water. The young girls at reception were friendly albeit a bit flighty, but helpful. When I realized that I had made a dreadful mistake and ended up being the only woman in a "mixed"10 bed dorm room, they kept...

I spent one month this summer in Chocolate Hostel in Moscow and I had a wonderful time. I was doing an internship in Moscow and this place was just perfect for me, it's really intimate, it's like home! I discovered many people, especially Russian people, who are very kind and open-minded. I made good friends there. I recommend this place...

This hostel is about people. I find myself talking to other people more often than in other places. Staff is good and helpful. There was minor renovation made lately and now it is even more cozy. Location is good for siteseeing. It is in the center of the city but in quiet place, so you can sleep well.

Several years ago we found this hostel to be excellent. Now, alas, it seems to have become a very expensive boarding house. Almost everybody else there was long term and stayed up late at night together then rushed off to work next day. Also expensive. About 3000 roubles a night - no breakfast

First up, as others have pointed out, the hostel is located in an unmarked, anonymous building. There is no signpost outside whatsoever nor anything on the door buzzer to confirm the presence of the hostel. Once buzzed in, which will have to be the case every single time you enter the premises since there is no key or card-entry system,...
