If you are looking for swish with lots of add-Ons, then this isn't for you, but if you want a spotlessly clean ex-soviet apartment style room with free wi-if, kettle, fridge and microwave in your room, less than 15 mins on the metro away from Red Square, with only a short walk to the station, then this is the place.

Good location, close to the metro station, 24/7 shop, ATM, exchange office are very near. Clean rooms with all the facilities you need in small journey. Large double bed, good personnel, free WI-FI. It's a good deal.

Small apartment situated near to Park Kultury station, 2 stops from Kremlin and Red Square. Which is, in a huge city like Moscow, really near. Clean room, with microwave oven and fridge. Good place to sleep and rest during a visit in Moscow.

Great location, 8 minute walk to Park Kul'tury metro station. Simple apartment, but had everything we needed. Good bathroom and shower. The staff was helpful and tried to communicate in english. The price was reasonable, specially if you compare with others hotels this close to downtown.

Apartment may be an exaggeration but you have a good clean room, hot wonderful shower, fridge and kettle. Do not do what we did and try to go through the first brown door you see. Go round the side where the courtyard is and look for number 62. This is not just a code, it's the number of the apartments....

Neighbourhood Profile
Khamovniki
Khamovniki could be considered a city of its own – here it’s possible to find some of Moscow’s most important cultural institutions such as the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Novodevichy Convent and Trubetskikh Estate, great sport locations such as Luzhniki stadium and aqua complex, and long and beautiful Luzhniki embankment. Pick your preferred form of transport to explore the area – bicycle or river cruise during the summer and taxi in winter as many of the great places are situated beyond a short walk.

“Our room looked into the central courtyard, but our fiends stayed in a room looking out to the back where there was a light quite close by. Not sure it bothered them”
