When our family (two adults and one child of 3 years old) has made the decision to come to Moscow for four days on New year and Christmas holidays I tried to read many reviews about different hotels in Moscow. Garden Embassy has the very high rating on booking and tripadvisor among apart hotels - so it was the first reason to try this one. Our decision was absolutely right and as the hotel infrastructure as the service (check-in, reception and room servise) fully met our expectations. The reception was very helpful and always ready to solve any your problems. The room service was very accurate and all the room space is very clean that is quite important for the families with little children. The room has new and high-quality plumbing, all the necessary kitchen equipment, including a sink, a kettle, a fairly large refrigerator, a microwave, a small but adequate set of dishes for three people. In this hotel you can find the very tasty breakfast which include some varieties of fresh cottage cheese, cottage cheese casserole, milk, sour cream. That is very important for a family with a child. You can also find a small but quite acceptable amount of different varieties of cheese, sausage, fish, vegetables and fruits. The Hi Garden cafe in the hotel can offer you during the lunch time very tasty dishes as for adults as for the kids and it is very convenient for the families with kids also. More over there is a family restaurant on the ground floor in the hotel. Garden Embassy is about 10-15 minutes of walking to two nearest metro stations and it is very convenient to get as to the heart of Moscow (Chistye Prudy or Clean Ponds, Myasnitskaya Street) as for the VDNH Park and Exhibition Center which is a quite interesting place with attractions for the kids of all ages. The hotel makes a very good impression and I can recommend it for families with small children.…
We stayed two nights two adults and three young children. Appartment was new, confortable, clean and with all facilities. The views were impressive. Breakfast also in 8 floor generous and tasty. We even had lunch in the same place enjoying Russians dishes. Staff was nice, helpful and could speak English very well. Thank you for making our stay perfect.
We stayed in this nice, very quiet hotel for 8 days and had an enormous large and complete, luxurious room (with kitchen). The cleaning was perfectly done by a very polite, friendly and hardworking girl from Kirgizië. The bar-restaurant, where also the delightful breakfast was served, was of high quality. We had some marvelous diners there. The very kind waiter, Oleg, did his utmost to make our stay a pleasant one and we had some very nice conversations with him. With Google translate he solved our language problems very quickly! Also the reception desk was of top level. In the neighbourhood of the hotel were plenty nice restaurants, so the fact that the hotel is out of the centre of Moscow, isn’t a problem at all. Thanks again for your fantastic hospitality! Fam. We‘ve spent 4 nights at the Garden Embassy Hotel. The room was clean, spacious and modern with a nice design. I really liked the green bathrooms. The breakfast is good as well with enough variety every day. In about 7 minutes you can reach the metro station. Unfortunately the hotel staff is not fluent in Englisch and it was sometime a bit difficult do communicate. Altogether we’ve really spent some lovely days around Christmas in snowy Moscow.
I stayed alone for business. Room was very big with more stuff than i need - refrigerator, kettle, coffee-machine; Perfect restaurants nearby. And what an incredible garden! You get free entrance pass at reception and enjoy your stay in it for hours. Definitely recommended for business and for Family travelers.
New hotel / apartments in a business center close to the park. The rooms are huge, pity though that you cannot fix your own room temperature. The beds are to though and there is a permanent light in the bathroom you can’t switch of. Man that was annoying. On the other side, the hotel is in a quiet and safe area - next to the Portuguese Embassy, they have a very good restaurant and serve a decent breakfast.
This place is great. Easy access from the airport and great to get around. The rooms are a very good size and immaculate. The service was polite and friendly. The breakfast also good and the whole place felt intimate and relaxed.
I have been staying at Embassy Garden for last 3 weeks. It's nicely managed appartment with 24/7 security. It's just 2.5 k.m. away from sandon city square. Good choice for short stay with kichen facility.
Cannot fault this modern hotel (don't know why they call themselves Apartments). The hotel is in a quiet area and backs onto a beautiful little Botanical Garden (free entrance for hotel guests). It is very conveniently located for the Metro. Check-in was quick, very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was large, clean, and well appointed, and the small bathroom was perfectly adequate. Breakfast in the top floor restaurant was exceptional. Self service buffet with a daily changing top class gourmet selection. Highly recommended.
The architect has used a lot of creativity and passion while creating the hotel, but I am not sure how practical it is. The entrance is very standard, and I was greeted very warmly and shown to my room. I was taken aback at how dark the corridor felt, but that's part of the design. The room is very spacious and extremely well furnished, but not ergonomically designed. I couldn't find the master switch near the bed even after two days and there were many other such design quirks. That's all very minor though, as I had a very comfortable stay overall. Its about 10 minutes walk to the metro and some supermarkets and within 8-10 minutes walk of several restaurants. The breakfast is good, and served in a room with a nice view. I must compliment the reception staff, not only was my check in experience very warm and friendly, but while checking out I had some trouble with opening the safe, and I had some anxious moments as I was supposed to leave by 7.30 am for the airport. It was handled very promptly and efficiently and the technician who usually reports at 8 was asked to come in by 7.30 in order to open it and I was on my way in 10 minutes!…
