The price was really good, as for St. Petersburg in busy time. Bulding is 11 floors apartment house, and is old, but renewed. Breakfast was ok, can't complain. Rooms are not very high standard but clean, same bathroom. Unfortunately bathroom was stinking a little bit from the pipes, not sure if that is normal, or just an accident. I felt...

Avoid this hotel. Noisy in front of a building site, with men working till 11 pm ever on sundays. To small breafast room, so that you have to stay for half an hour in line to get something to eat. Never more.

The hotel is ok, the check-in took several minutes and the staff was friendly. Buffet breakfast was tasty and various. It's afar from the city center, but I had no problems catching the public transport. Most of all I liked that the hotel is non-smoking.

The only minus of this hotel is location. Impossible to get from subway on foot. But buses, trolleybuses and mini-buses can take you to Nevskiy pr. in 15 minutes. There's shop Diksi near hotel. Stayed in hotel twice. Impression is the same. Rooms are clean, with A/C, flat TV. Bathroom is clean, too. Breakfast is very good, with nice choice....

I recommend the Karelia Hotel in St Petersburg, Russia. This is very good place to stay in St Petersburg. It's not real expensive, and the in-house restuarant caters to people of all nationalities. It's a place to stay that's not right in the downtown part of the city, but it's close enough that it doesn't take too much time to...

The Karelia hotel is located nearby to park in quite silent area in St. Petersburg. However, the location is a bit far from the centrum, we used the minibus to go to old city (there are direct routes). It was a pleasant stay in that hotel. The breakfast was nice with wide food assortments. I could recommend this hotel for...

Hotel is a typical 3 star hotel you will find in Russia. Nothing fancy, but ok. The room was more or less clean. The furniture was ok, but I noticed some cigarette burns on the chair. The bathroom was good and the towels were clean. Breakfast was ok, but after 3 days you'll get tired of eating the same food....

“I am not using a hair dryer, but my daughter who enters the room immediately noticed that this was missing. there is no iron / iron board in room, but there is a separate room for this type of activity. Free Wireless internet was available in a hotel, but not in my room. There were, however, several secured spots with a strong signal.”
