Old Vienna Hotel is a great place if you're looking for good value in a great location. It's on the second floor of a building that is well located - just a few minutes walk to both the Hermitage and St Isaac's, just off Nevsky Prospekt. Lots of restaurants in the area. It has the feel of a small inn... More

The "mini hotel" as it is called is on the 2nd floor (1st fl if you're using Russian or European logic) and is very clean, comfortable and well run. The entrance is a non-entity; first, the entrance door is NOT through the neighboring restaurant - it is an almost invisible door around the corner. Second, the "lobby", if you can... More

The sincere willingness of the people in this hotel to help and makeour stay comfortable surmounted whatever language barrier that existed. Location of the hotel was excellent and within walking distance to touristic highlights, very good restaurants and the Metro. We had difficulty finding it upon arrival since it is not actually in the address indicated but at the rear... More

It was a really lovely little hotel where to stay with my wife and my daughter right in the heart of St. Petersburg, close to everything. I especially loved the style of the place remembering its glorious past when it was a meeting point of the russian poets and artists in the early 20th century, and more all the female... More

I felt like beeing "home with my mothers" while staying here. Polite ladies who were serviceminded and helpful. They even made the breakfast for us themselves. The location is great. Right in the middle of a lot og good restaurants, close to metro and close to Nevsky Prospect. Clean and nice looking room and toilet. There were only one of... More

Very good experience: everyone was helpful and very kind towards us. The only problem was the lack of english knowledge that made the conversation quite difficult... by the way I would suggest this hotel for its strategic position at an affordable price.

We stayed in this mini hotel two nights. In early 20th century it used to be restaurant wisited by most prominent Russian poets and writers. The hotel is in the residence building where the Russian composer Pyotr Tchaykovsky was born and died. The hotel's decoration brings you back to that time. Each room has a name of one of the...
