Stayed for 4 nights. Had booked and paid for two rooms (triples) but were assigned one double and one triple room (they charged on arrival)....Breakfast is excellent but room service and quality is not Marriott standard. I am a gold member and my stay has not been posted to my reward account - it has been more than 3 weeks.

How this hotel is categorized as a 5 star hotel I will never know! Location: 5/10 Room: 5/10 Beds comfort: 6/10 Sleep quality: 5/10 Room service: 1/10 Cleanness: 2/10 Value of price paid for the room: 6/10 Breakfast (Fotor and Sohor): Not included Staff: 6/10 Internet/wifi: 0/10 The hotel feels old, in serious need of renovation for some reason it felt like the 90s, the reception is simple, at check in was greeted well but was not informed of the floor I was staying, room type, reservation, breakfast ect I was just handed the room keys and that was it, once I entered the room first think I noticed was the stains on the bedsheets!!! It wasn't removed for new guests, the food for the eftar or fotor was simple, the Internet was horrible and barely working, location was ok there is

This Hotel is located like 800 meters from Gate 6 of the Prophet's Mosque (near entrance of Roza-Rasool). Has an amazing location away from the so crowded hotels which face the Haram. The advantage that comes along is of Service, Quality, Professionalism and most importantly greeting attitudes surpasses everything. With all this comes the financial part of being able to afford your stays. At reasonably priced spacious rooms, this is definitely the right choice. Specially when these rooms are offered with free buffet breakfast in these prices. There are Pakistani, Turkish and Arabic restaurants available under 300 meters of reach with excellent quality food. Worth mentioning is the famous Islamabad Restaurant. The hotel staff is also excellent and have to mention Mohammed (Events

Marriot madinah is located a t a very good place to stay. We were upgraded to a room with a haram view. We could see gunbad e khizra from our window. 24 hur shuttle service is available. Even if you don't want to take shuttle service, masjid e nabwi is maximum 7 minutes walk. Hotel staff is very pleasant. Easy accessibility of markets and restafrom the hotel. A place to stay again

As Marriott loyal reward members, we take every chance to stay at our favorite brand's property and chose to stay at Marriott Madinah for the third time. Our last visit was a year ago. The hotel is in a bad condition and deteriorating. Although the rooms are spotlessly clean, nice breakfast buffet (upgraded since our last visit), and has a very cheerful staff, the rooms are very old, bathrooms are cracked and towels look overused. The free shuttle drops you near a Haram's gate that won't take you either to Baqee'a nor to Alrawda so taking a taxi to Haram is more efficient than the free shuttle. The price is shockingly cheap (76$ per night including breakfast!), but you'll soon realize why. I hope that Marriott consider renovating this hotel for the sake of maintaining their

After a great 4 nights stay at the Marriott Makkah, we arrive at the Marriott Madinah on March 15, 2016. What a difference between these two hotels. Just night and day. Madinah Marriott is so sub standard that this doesn't fall into any category. I don't think I remember staying any hotel such as this anywhere in the world. I'm not sure where to start. Check-in process was not Marriott standard at all. We arrived after a long journey from Makkah. It was late, my wife and my son were traveling with me. The duty manager questioned that we had only booking for 1 person, was very rude, and requested that I gave him the telephone number of whom I had booked this room with. I mentioned that I booked it in Canada using 1-800 number. He requested the number so I had to look for it

Medina Marriot has one of the best staff I have seen in my travelling journeys so far. The team at the restaurant where I had my complimentary breakfast was extra sweet, caring and very professional. The manager of the venue along with the waiters were going out of the way to serve us and make our breakfast worthwhile. Additionally, the bell boys and the reception team were also very helpful. The location of the hotel vis-a-vis Masjid e Nabawi, the mainstay of the city, is also quite good. It was a walking distance for me to visit the Mosque both at night and in the morning. Additionally, the proximity of shops and markets is a plus as well. The hotel is unlike any other Marriot that I have stayed in the world. It lacks the basic structural features and grandeur that is the

Stayed here during a recent trip to Madinah. It is very close and easy walk to the prophets Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawī) and centrally located for a variety of food outlets and touristy shops / markets. The Reception staff are welcoming, but could do with smiling a bit more, and being a bit more customer focussed. The one outstanding person that made the stay very worthwhile was: Mr. Mohamed Sayed, the Egyptian Food & Beverage Manager. I met him during my breakfast and he is an absolute star. Went out of his way to ensure the hotel guest are well looked after, has his eye on all of his catering staff and never missed a beat when it came to ensuring that everything ran like clockwork, even if it meant seeing that my glass was empty and refilling with orange juice or
