People seem to forget that China is a developing country. So yes, while they do have 5-star hotels, and major metropolitan cities like Beijing and Shanghai, it is still a developing country people! keep that in mind. Now on to the review: Lobby: Huge with beautiful decor. Desk agents were extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs. We were able...

Flight "delay" made us loose our connection from Bangkok to SF. The airline offered several hotels. We choose this one because it was only one of 8 with a star rating. Run down, dirty, burn holes in carpet. Beds feel like a board with a sheet. Gas masks on the we shelf.. not sure what that means. We slept on...

We stayed at the New Century Hotel for our free hotel layover with China Southern. We arrived to a nice lobby and pleasant staff. The check in was smooth. The ladys at the desk spoke decent English. Our room was on the 15th floor. It was a room at the end of the hall. The room was way larger than...

Offered as free overnight transit accommodation including Shuttle and Breakfast with China Southern Airlines, apx 25 min drive from the international Airport in medium to light traffic. Bedroom was very large apx 7m...

The room is spacious. The evening buffet was not of good quality, but was bountiful. I was not pleased with it. The receptionists downstairs were not so helpful. I asked where a certain bus stop was and they told me to go around walking to find it myself. I found them cheeky and rude. Furthermore, they did not even give...

The hotel is clean, the rooms are relatifly spacious, the bathrooms are ok and clean. But no 4 or 5 star as claimed. The breakfast Chinese style. Poor tentatives to have as well western or continental influences. The food in the hotel owned restaurants is against as in some other trip advisors, not really recommandable as nothing special and extraordinary....

Like lots of others this came courtesy of China Southern due to a long and planned layover in Guangzhou. Finding the transfer bus was not easy at all. The room was clean and entirely comfortable. I thought the breakfast was excellent. At least the Chinese food. If i'm going to be in Guangzhou, I'm sure not going to eat Western...

This hotel cost me nothing thanks to China Southern Airlines and their complimentary transit hotel arrangements. First impressions were great, with a grandiose marble lobby and English speaking staff. Upstairs it was a slightly different story, with worn carpets and years worth of cigarette smell engrained in the halls. The room was comfortably and clean, albeit a little tired. For...

We were brought here when our China Southern flight was cancelled. It was 10 pm and we were tired. My first impression was that it looked kind of gloomy because of the low lighting. Check-in was smooth but the receptionist couldn't quite understand that we were asking for the wifi password in the lobby. We proceeded to the restaurant for...
