Great place to relax, perfect service, stunning views from the hotel, many different pools with amazing scents and health benefits, felt like a princess. The only thing was that our room did not have a balcony even though we asked for it. Communication in English was difficult.

The hotel itself is average for this size of hotel in China, but the food is really good. The ingredients are fresh and grown locally. The cuisine is healthy. The staff doesn't speak English a all, but not a big problem though. Average hot-spring as quite crowded, but still ok.

From the outside appearance I expected a typical Chinese hotel but I was in for a very pleasant surprise! From the moment we walked in with the smiling greetings and the fantastically smooth check in process I began to think that I was wrong to judge this book by its cover. We stayed in a family suite and it smelled...

This is a mediocre hotel and needs upgrading. The gift shop and swim suit selection were inadequate. Food was acceptable in the main dining room. The hot springs were a short walk away. In early March, while it was still very cold, the heat was turned off. It is fairly common in China to turn the heat off by March...

Hotel is a bit worn out, but it doesn´t matter. Service is superb and hot springs are so great that you forget shabby look of the hotel. First we got smoking room eventhough we had booked a non-smoking. We chagend room and we had to carry luggage ourselves to the other room (normally hotel staff do this kind of things)....

We left Shenzhen for a short road trip and landed on the hot springs. It was a nice break from the daily grind and the hot springs in various types were rejuvenating. Some of the 'types' included wine, coffee, tea, and other variations. The pools were sometimes crowded with day trippers but it seemed the crowds moved about a lot...

Make sure you book one of the private cabins each with their own private hot spring pool, that can be flavoured upon demand. The cabins are tastefully decorated, large ensuite shower room, wifi. Being a birthday celebration I was serenaded with a song by three hostesses on arrival, and given a birthday cake. The general spring bath area is s...

After a dreadful flight delay from Shanghai->Guangzhou and about 1.5 hours of drive from the airport, our hearts literally sank when we saw an old building (we were expecting a grand new one)! But from the minute we entered the hotel till the moment we left the gates of the hotel, the service from the hotel staff was just THE...

The arrival by bus is convenient, though ones has to keep in mind it is a 90 minutes bus journey from the centre of Guangzhou to the hotel. In the bus there is no toilet but seating and the seats are rather small. Once we arrived a young friendly doormen accompanied us to the reception where the little waiting time...

After a lacklustre visit to Dragon Bay Hot Spring and following a gruelling trip to Beijing we went off to re-visit Bishuiwan for much needed R&R, and I am happy to say that it did not disappoint. It lived up to our previous experience and then some. The springs themselves were lovely and clean and were varied. You like your...

“The riverside has a nice view over the hotels outdoor facilities such as the swimming pools and the wooded hills as well as to the river. Even though we had a room next to the elevator we did not hear it at all.”
